We’ve always been here, on the Chianti slopes of Arezzo, in the land of Tuscany, at Villa La Ripa, a Renaissance villa not far from Florence and Sienna. Olive groves and vineyards all around us with their precious oil and wine: Sangiovese, Tiratari, Psyco, Spaziolibero.Rows and rows of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz are well cared for with love and passion with respect for nature and environmental sustainability. The countryside is unique as it has remained unaltered for ages and deserves to be discovered, enjoyed and… tasted. It is recommended to all the lovers of wine tourism for unforgettable visits at the winery.

Make the effort if you have a car and head 10 minutes out of Arezzo to Antria to this amazing 16th century villa. The impressive iron gates and pencil pine drive up to the villa are breathtaking. Greeted by the current owner Saverio Luzzi who showed us the cellar, secret garden, magnificent entry hall with original artifacts and discovered treasures.... More

What an exceptional time! There are many wine tastings but few that take place in a villa that's almost as old as the discovery of America. Sylvia is the guide and she shows you the highlights and discoveries of the villa with the enthusiasm of a good docent. She also conducts the wine tasting with the passion and insights of... More

What a fabulous location for a wine tasting. Coming up the drive is like being on a movie set. The views are amazing and the history of the home was wonderful. Thank you for opening your doors to us and showing us your private space, especially the Chapel. How wonderful to live with that history and keep it preserved. The... More

This was the first time when I enter In a living house who looks like a musseum. From The first step Stared to empress me. The big walls and doors were so recipient. The fact they conserved all the originals things shows the dedications and passion for what they do. An other thing that I want to remember is this:... More

We visited Villa La Ripa as part of our cooking vacation at Torre del Tartufo. The villa is beautiful - preserved almost exactly as it was built in the fifteenth century. And Dr. Saverio Luzzi makes some excellent wines. Villa La Ripa is well worth visiting.

I went to Villa La Ripa on a wine tour and it was fabulous. The grounds were spectacular and was even given a tour of the villa along with a restoration history. This should be a stop on your travels through Tuscany.

Close to Arezzo, this beautiful Tuscan Renaissance villa blew us away from the minute we arrived at the gate. Silvia met us at the house and we were welcomed in to the family home before starting the wine tasting. Stunning wines and, in particular, the Psyco wine! We can highly recommend Villa La Ripa for not only its wine but... More
