We’ve always been here, on the Chianti slopes of Arezzo, in the land of Tuscany, at Villa La Ripa, a Renaissance villa not far from Florence and Sienna. Olive groves and vineyards all around us with their precious oil and wine: Sangiovese, Tiratari, Psyco, Spaziolibero.Rows and rows of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz are well cared for with love and passion with respect for nature and environmental sustainability. The countryside is unique as it has remained unaltered for ages and deserves to be discovered, enjoyed and… tasted. It is recommended to all the lovers of wine tourism for unforgettable visits at the winery.

We visited Villa La Ripa with our Tuscookany cooking class. We toured the villa-it is lovely and did wine tastings. What a delightful experience!

We visited Villa La Ripa as part of our cooking vacation at Torre del Tartufo. The villa is beautiful - preserved almost exactly as it was built in the fifteenth century. And Dr. Saverio Luzzi makes some excellent wines. Villa La Ripa is well worth visiting.

I went to Villa La Ripa on a wine tour and it was fabulous. The grounds were spectacular and was even given a tour of the villa along with a restoration history. This should be a stop on your travels through Tuscany.

Close to Arezzo, this beautiful Tuscan Renaissance villa blew us away from the minute we arrived at the gate. Silvia met us at the house and we were welcomed in to the family home before starting the wine tasting. Stunning wines and, in particular, the Psyco wine! We can highly recommend Villa La Ripa for not only its wine but... More

The history of the villa, the quality of the wine and Dr. Saverio's passion for both makes this one of the finest wine tastings we have ever experienced. I now hope to be a better host when I return home.

First off, this is the most unusual and best wine tour/tasting we've ever been on. You get the history of a 1000 year old villa from Saverio, the owner, who is a natural raconteur - absolutely passionate, fascinating and charming. Next you get a tour of the vines, gardens and home (he spent 45 minutes just with my girlfriend and... More

I had a tour with my group from Tuscookany Cooking Vacation. The host Saverio was outstanding and so knowledgeable with wine making and the local history. It is a very historic and beautiful place. The wine and cheese tasting was so delicious, I bought a case of wine to be shipped to my home in the states. I highly recommend... More
