As impossibile as it seems,this small Tuscan town really does have an atmosphere that sets it apart from all the other towns in the same valley. Definitely worth exploring on foot.

The history of the small town of Poppi goes back to the 12th century when it became the main residence of the Counts Guidi. The castle was built then, but it was completely rebuilt in the 13th century. The picturesque castle is not the only reason to visit this place, a lovely and peaceful village with the medieval architecture and atmosphere.…
