Perched on the top of the rocky cliff along the sea, mass is celebrated once a year for those sailors who were lost at sea. The Church is so small, it only fits a handful of people. Beautiful views!

My wife and I love to walk although we are now in the o.a.p. catagory and this jewel was at one end of the Alassio prom, There is a bit of a climb up some stone steps but you are rewarded by some fantastic views once up there. The little place wasn't open when we went but the views provided were still worth the effort, a surprise was the view of a marina which is out of sight from the main beach area. Even on a day not as fine and sunny as ours it would still provide some wonderful viewing for anyone who visits.

From the hotel area, a very pleasant walk on a paved sidewalk to this wonderful viewpoint. Definitely worth the effort.

Take a walk or a bike ride along the seafront where a nice, small chapel is well lokated over the Yacht port. It is 1-2 km from the promenade and the shopping center, but is really worth it. From the chapel there is a fantastic view of Alassio during the day, or at sunset!

Certainly worth the walk from the center of town all along the promenade to the little chapel. The climb up isn't o hard, but the steps are old and uneven, so perhaps not good for anyone will balance or mobility issues. The view from the top is spectacular, blue, blue sea, waves crashing on the rocks. Also a good look at the whole of the Alassio coastline

We found Alassio a very beautiful town and there are many walks to do around if you are finished sunbathing along the shore. This promenade is on the right hand side if you are standing infront of the extended bridge. Just walk til the end of the shoreline and at the end you will see a little structure on a hill. Be prepared that it is very windy up there. It is truly amazing that along the promenade it was warm and when you walk up on this little hill, the wind seems to blow more. A thin wind breaker jacket will do. You will see the port too where people dock their boats. So lovely. We found some people sleeping on the benches. I envy them having a good sleep hearing the splash of the water on the rocks and a very nice temperature. It is good to bring a bottle of water because there were no establishments open. The bars which were open were closer to the extended bridge. We were there during the Easter. Alassio - a town I dream to retire

This is a nice place to visit if you go to Alassio, beyond the chapel is Alassio port, there is a cafe there which is okay for coffee or beer.

On our way walking from Alassio to Albenga we found this chapel which gave a fantastic view over Alassio and its beaches.
The chapel itself was locked so little to see there, but the view was excellent.
