This was right next to our hotel and a very nice place to quietly sit for a few moments surrounded by history. Whether or not the water has healing powers, I don't know but it felt good and is worth a visit for the charm and tranquillity and it is just a few moments out of the main town in a lovely area to go for a walk..

A historical fountain with sulphuric curative and very hot water. It is a very interesting place built in the Roman age. I recommend visiting Acqui Terme and this fountain.

The locals call it fonte fredda, the cold fountain; it's a piece of history. I have walk a few times here and enjoyed the sulphuric curative water. Walking to Fonte Fredda is a pleasant evening activity.
