I'm one who only watches Top Gear occasionally but even for a layman (woman in this case) this was a very nice museum with a varied collection of stunning cars. It definitely will bring back some childhood memories for the more mature among us. Absolutely worth the visit if you ask me.

The car park is round the corner from the museum. The museum is tucked away in a quiet street. My nephew wanted to visit, I'm not a massive car fan and he thoroughly enjoyed it and there was plenty to keep my interest. There were a lot of cars on display (from racing cars through to concept cars made out of wood). The information was displayed in French and English. There was a nice little shop selling books, etc.. We were there just over 2 hours.

This was my second visit and I was not disappointed. This time there was a celebration of American cars and motorcycles. The museum is well laid out. Plenty of space to dwell and admire the vehicles. Sometimes it was difficult to photograph some of the vehicles because of the barriers but this was not an insurmountable problem. The light in the downstairs display area also created photograph problems. More light I think is required. The whole history is told well. There are also Engine displays and a nice little shop. A little cafe would be useful!! Overall a great little undiscovered museum.

Like the below review I was also part of the classic car group. This museum was really interesting and well laid out (even for those of us who were more dragged along!). It was nicely done with lots of interesting car and history of MATRA and what they achieved. Worth a visit and a good way to pass an hour or 2.

I went to this museum as part of a classic car group tour, and had been looking forwaed to it since it was announced on the tour itinerary. It was a fantastic place with really pleasant staff. The only thing that may have helped would have been to of had staff members around the exhibits to talk customers thru the displays as they do at the British motor heritage centre but this did not spoil the visit at all. We has a couple of hours there but I could have spent 4hours easily! Will definatley be on my re-visit list
