This is a very good park for evening walk. Evening time, lots of families. Their are some swings also for kids. Lot of people doing bar-be-que. Very safe till late night also. It is next to sea so very nice sea breeze even during summers.

Crowded with people, good for kids as it has a lot of playground space to play at, located by the beach, parking can be a challenge unless you have a 4x4 then ya can park by the sand.

In spite of regular labourer and school group clean ups it seems that the insistence on littering in the park and beach areas is totally out of control. It is such a very big pity. There is a sign indicating that no vehicles are to drive on the beach but this is ignored. This morning's walk was pronounced for litter and dead fish all over the shore. I am ashamed that human beings choose to continuously assault the natural world.

The place is very big with places for families to occupy as picnic spots. The beach is accessible to all from here & so is the green garden area. There is a coffee shop near the parking in case you need some snacks & refreshments before you go towards the beach.

This place has everything going for it but the rubbish throwing and leaving on the beach park side is relentless. Speeding cars and tractor motorcycles also tend to show off dangerously and loudly in the area. Weekends are the worst. It is beyond time for civic littering and dangerous driving fines to be imposed.
The grass area and pavilions are gorgeous and available for public use. It's neat to see families and friends enjoying the space. Alas, the remaining litter wafting about is a sore testament. Can we not respect nature in any form? Can we not enjoy public spaces and leave them as they were? The new plastic children's playground is a bit of an eyesore, but as the public have ruined the beach due to excessive littering, it might be unsafe for children to play on the grass and sand.

Located within residential area in Al-Ghobra (Muscat), this little park with the lake and actually quite nice. Much liked by locals, rarely sees visitors as is off-beaten tourist path. But I won't advise go looking for it unless you are into Geocaching!

As one of our usual beaches was closed to the public, we decided to visit the beach at the Ghubra Lake park. The park is well lit and lot of families come for picnic and barbeque. The temperature and humidity didnt make the outing very enjoyable. The big flood lights get switched off at 11PM.

Very small park with a water way. It nothing special here. A park is frequent for a jog if I lived there but that's about it.

I love this park and beach. It's great to see people walking, having picnics, singing and all sorts there. Less delightful are cars driving up and down the beach. The completely tragic thing however is the relentless litter dumping there, especially on the weekends.
Loose plastic bags and food scraps are a bad look but also poison the environment. Surely no one seriously wants the place to be known as the land of rubbish? Instead of people relying on labourers to clean up after them, how about some civic responsibility?
On windy days rubbish blows all over the neighbourhood so it's very unpleasant to be outside. If it was a clean place, it would be a nice park to enjoy.
