We went for a dolphin watching trip at the end of February 2020. This company was recommended by my front. Sea was little choppy but it was explained before the trip. We were lucky with lot of dolphins. Skipper was nice person. We recommend this.

Az'zaha tours was lovely and enjoyed the early morning boat ride to view dolphins in its wildlife. It was a good 15 mins boat ride into the sea and the boat operator was very well experienced as to where to find the dolphins. We had a good amount of time to view the dolphins and it was a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend them for any tours they handle.

We had a good time in the tour. We appreciate the safety precautions of the tour company we travelled. It is called Az’Zaha Tours. The trip started at 10 am. A good number of dolphin spotted. After the dolphin watching we have been taken for snorkeling in Bander Al Khairan Island. Bander Al Khairan island is a place very calm even the rough sea. Very high quality snorkeling equipment provided and we could see lot of corals, colorful fish and a turtle. Soft drinks, Fresh Fruits and water provided at very high hospitality level and the skipper was very helpful. Believe me it was money worth, enjoyable and an nice experience.

We went on a 4hr fishing trip with these guys in Feb 2020. Me, my wife and two boys (12&13). Picked us up from the hotel a bit late but wasn’t a problem. It was a breezy day but we were assured fishing would be fine. Got to the boat which looked good and we headed out into some pretty heavy seas (I’ve spent plenty of time in small boats in the North Sea so not a wuss). Rods/reels were pretty tired and one reel didn’t work. Only set up two rods but the deal was for 4. Nothing doing after an hour of trolling with the swell so went inshore to do some ‘bottom fishing’. Took a while to find a site under pretty rough conditions. Caught one small fish which at least meant we didn’t blank. Lost the anchor on a wreck so couldn’t hold position and decided to give up for the day and head home after one of our boys was sick. Very bumpy ride back into a steep swell was fun but tough on the back. The skipper suggested we might go swimming on the way back at a known site, but we weren’t pre-informed this was an option so didn’t have any swim stuff and in any case we weren’t in the mood. Plus we paid a lot of money to fish not to swim. All in all a disappointing morning. I know you can’t guarantee fish but they should have called it off before we went as conditions were not right for what was being offered.

We did the 8.00am trip, correspondence about the trip prior to the excursion was great, since I had emailed the company, they had responded promptly and had texted me the night before. The driver picked us up on time but was not very communicative.

On arrival at the Marina, a very self important man approached us and told us to wait till the rest of the people arrived. He then came round and collected the money. It is obvious it is a business, but a smile and a chat is always appreciated when travelling.

I have done this trip several times and the boat we were on was not the same standard as the ones I had been on before. As a previous reviewer mentioned, I was worried about the health and safety. The sea was fairly rough on the day we went and no safety instructions were given, we were really bouncing off our seats. There was a large family with us who had a baby that they were holding very near the tip of the boat to take pictures, I was anxious, but no one said a word of caution to them.

We saw lots of dolphins which was nice, however I did feel like we were invading the dolphins natural habitat, previously we would see dolphins from a little distance but this time we were going right into their swimming area, not just our boat but all of the boats which did made me feel uncomfortable.

The boat headed back towards the land and we were shown a prison and a cemetery by the driver of the boat whose English was not the best. We then arrived at the port at 9.25am. The trip is advertised as 2 hours. Previously, when on a similar trip we have been round the area near the Shangri la and spent more time on the boat.

I booked this trip thinking it was going to be like my previous experiences, but I was disappointed with the trip, the hospitality, the health and safety and disturbance to the dolphins.

Excellent trip, well organised on a small boat which was perfect. We saw plenty of dolphins and were given a great tour of the coastline. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were particularly pleased with the dolphin watching as our captain showed great respect to the dolphins unlike many of the other boats that just ploughed through them.
We have been with other companies on. The same. Tour and so far this has been the best.

Always a marvelous trip. I live here and have been 4 or 5 times, taking various guests. It suits all ages. The first time, I went as someone who had never snorkelled!
Yesterday I sent my guests alone, as I had to work - they came back raving about it, how caring the driver had been in helping the novice swimmers, and how many colourful fish you can see in quite shallow water!
The icing on the cake is always having a few dozen dolphins around the boat - only one time I didn't see any, and they are not guaranteed of course, but yesterday the skipper said he had never seen so many... there were hundreds jumping all around the boat!
Cold soft drinks and some fruit are offered for free. All the equipment is provided for free. It costs 20 rials per head.

We did dolphins watch through AZ Zaha Tours. My experience is astonishing about their service. I have traveled about 80 countries and met with so many event organizers, they are for sure one of the best. I called them late evening yesterday to arrange this event. They have confirmed within less than a minute. Picked us and drop back to hotel. Did not even ask about price, but when they charged me, I feel it is surprisingly cheap. Dolphin watch was amazing. Lucky us, saw tons of dolphins. Very strongly recommend this team. And wish them a great success.

A must visit thingy in Muscat...
It was a very pleasant trip.
The whole crew was very friendly and welcoming...
The captain was cool and answered all my questions with a smiling face...
Totally worth the money...

P.S. You get unlimited Cola and Water as complementary from the crew...

Congrats to the team and keep up the same phase...
Have fun...

Throughly enjoyed our 2hr sunset cruise up and down the coast. Once we found the guy at the port (just ask somebody, they all seem to know each other), everything was seamless. The crew were friendly, and provided regular small snacks and soft drinks/coffee and some commentary on the scenery. The boat was comfortable and the pace gentle. Spectacular sunset, nice way to spend an evening. Thoroughly recommended if you’re looking for a sunset dhow cruise. Price is about 60GBP for 2 which seemed reasonable in the context of the costs in Oman.
