Wonderful Dive trip

We have booked with them two dives everything was superb. They accolades us while we weee late many dive centers would just cancel the trip if they don’t have a large group while they took the two of us safety was a top priority. And wha a wonderful dive we saw so many fish turtles corals stingrays Dolphin. The dive master was very nice and attentive to every detail. Both the Captain and abdennasser our dive master were very professional. Thank you seaman for this wonderful experience in dilaniyat

Great diving experience with SeaOman team

Great diving with SeaOman over 4 days, first with Abdul then Assan, who were both excellent dive guides. Even though the visibility was not ideal with lots of green algae, we managed to experience a lot during our dives. The whole service from the team on board and back at base was great. Thank you!

Super team & nice diving!

We had a great two days out and we really want to give big compliments to the team, and especially to Nash, our dive guide. I completed my 100th dive with Seaoman and sadly it is not a given, that a diveguide / master is as enthusiastic about the underwater world like Nash is! First of all he briefed us well, which I appreciated, & I loved how he was showing us some tiny creatures (like a sexy shrimp, probably not bigger than 5mm?? :)
We were diving end of November & I have to say that the visibility was quite bad (on the first day really really bad), however, Nash made even such a bad vis diving day into a nice one, with pointing out the best he could find on the dives - making the best out of it!! Thank you Nash, it's beautiful to see such an enthusiastic guide, who is still passionate about his job <3 :)
We still saw some nice creatures, like big rays & a biiiig schoal of eel-tailed-catfish, turtles, sexy shrimp, cuttlefish, ... and things I forgot :)

And then they even brought me a cake onto the boat for my 100 dive!!! Thank you so much!! :) Definitely recommend Seaoman!! :)

A well-organised snorkeling trip

What an amazing snorkeling trip to Daimaniyat islands today! We were very lucky and got a private trip with just the instructor and the boat’s captain. The instructor jumped in the water with us and showed us where to find turtles, reefs and fish, and then let us swim around for as long as we liked. We counted 16 turtles in total today in the three locations where we stopped for snorkeling. Sixteen! Sadly, we also saw a dead turtle with plastic wrapped around its leg. It made us all so mad! After that I collected all the waste that I saw when we stopped to walk on one of the islands (landing is only allowed during the winter months). Who comes to a nature reserve and leaves their water bottle behind?? Anyway, a fantastic trip which exceeded our expectations. We even had some fruits and chocolate although there was not supposed to be any food. We can warmly recommend SeaOman!

A most unpleasant experience

The trip was a disaster as the weather was rough and in my opinion totally unsuitable for young children to go out it. When we arrived we found we had been upgraded to a larger boat which initially pleased us but with hindsight in my view was because they knew the sea was going to be rough and a bigger boat may cope better. Once out into open sea the waves got a lot higher and at one point came over the front of the boat causing some concern. The skipper was extremely competent at handling the boat but kept asking me if we wanted to continue until eventually I said we should return as the sea was bad. This is a decision he should have taken but I expect they did not want to offer a refund or a reschedule. We then went down the coast hoping that it would be calmer but it was not, the return journey seemed to take forever and was spent huddled under towels with spray crashing over us and was a really unpleasant experience. The onshore manager was of the view that they often went out in these conditions and was surprised that we were complaining. If you like being thrown about, being soaking wet and having a miserable time then I would go with this company as they will go out in unsuitable weather. Personally I will not use or recommend this company as there are plenty of other companies in Muscat that provide boat trips. They need to consider the type of passengers and the weather conditons at the time.

Fabulous day out to island paradise.

The boat was comfortable and with shaded seating options as well, which is important in Oman. The crew were first rate - professional and helpful at all times. The light S.A. with lunch provided was ok. Snorkelling equipment in good condition.
But the star of the show is Oman itself and the magical islands. This marine reserve is protected and rightly so. Respect the corals and fish, leave only footprints on the beach and this place will continue to delight and seduce generations to come.
I would suggest staff should instruct all charter clients on the importance of looking after this pristine group of islands. Just a quick briefing on coral , sea life and waste to ensure all visitors get the message.
A truly great day out. Pricey but worth it especially if you share the cost with friends.

Great diving

I’m happy to say I had a great days diving at the Daymaniyat Islands, Nash and the boat pilot were very friendly and easy going, as were the other divers, which made it all the more pleasurable. Calm, deserted, crystal clear waters, Five turtles at once, Leopard Sharks, Morays etc, all makes for a perfect experience! Hope to be back!!

Never returned emails or calls

We wanted to dive with SeaOman and even stopped by the shop and left our email with Louise but no one contacted us. We also emailed them and found out that the contact info on the website was outdated and tried another email address....
Needless to say we used another dive shop and were very pleased

Fantastic experience!

I just returned from a three day, two night catamaran trip. It was fantastic! We toured the boat before we left as we knew that due to Covid we would be doing our own catering. The supplies on board are sufficient for most needs. We forgot a corkscrew and there wasn't one onboard, but we had screw tops as well, so all was fine. The bedrooms are all on suite and have a decent amount of storage. The cabin and bedrooms are air conditioned and comfortable.

The crew, Jamal and Zaki were great! Their first concern was our safety. They were always aware of the weather conditions and adjusted plans in consultation with us in order to provide a fun and safe trip. They were also just plain good fun. Zaki went snorkeling with us, Jamal cooked Omani spiced freshly caught fish for us, and they both shared experiences from their lives growing up in Oman. We really enjoyed their company and appreciated their care for us.

The weather and water were perfect and although SeaOman can't control those aspects of the trip, these, combined with what was controllable, made the experience wonderful. We will book another trip in the near future.

Fantastic whale shark trip!

The trip set off on time after a short, useful, briefing about the whale sharks. We were very lucky to be able to snorkel with 7 or 8 whale sharks and it was also my first sighting of spinner dolphins. This was my third time trying to see the whale sharks and my first time with Sea Oman. They are a bit more expensive than other operators but it was definitely worth it today. I felt that we had a greater chance today than previously because of the professionalism of the captains and the general set up. There were also fewer people (10 today) on the boat compared to others, so I didn't feel that we intruded on the whale sharks too much. I also really enjoyed the other snorkel site we visited, which was crystal clear with lots of fish and coral.
