Wonderful Dive trip

We have booked with them two dives everything was superb. They accolades us while we weee late many dive centers would just cancel the trip if they don’t have a large group while they took the two of us safety was a top priority. And wha a wonderful dive we saw so many fish turtles corals stingrays Dolphin. The dive master was very nice and attentive to every detail. Both the Captain and abdennasser our dive master were very professional. Thank you seaman for this wonderful experience in dilaniyat

Super team & nice diving!

We had a great two days out and we really want to give big compliments to the team, and especially to Nash, our dive guide. I completed my 100th dive with Seaoman and sadly it is not a given, that a diveguide / master is as enthusiastic about the underwater world like Nash is! First of all he briefed us well, which I appreciated, & I loved how he was showing us some tiny creatures (like a sexy shrimp, probably not bigger than 5mm?? :)
We were diving end of November & I have to say that the visibility was quite bad (on the first day really really bad), however, Nash made even such a bad vis diving day into a nice one, with pointing out the best he could find on the dives - making the best out of it!! Thank you Nash, it's beautiful to see such an enthusiastic guide, who is still passionate about his job <3 :)
We still saw some nice creatures, like big rays & a biiiig schoal of eel-tailed-catfish, turtles, sexy shrimp, cuttlefish, ... and things I forgot :)

And then they even brought me a cake onto the boat for my 100 dive!!! Thank you so much!! :) Definitely recommend Seaoman!! :)

Great diving experience with SeaOman team

Great diving with SeaOman over 4 days, first with Abdul then Assan, who were both excellent dive guides. Even though the visibility was not ideal with lots of green algae, we managed to experience a lot during our dives. The whole service from the team on board and back at base was great. Thank you!

Don’t be fooled by the reviews – Avoid Sea Oman at All Costs

My parents and I decided to go snorkeling for the first time with Sea Oman in December last year, hoping to make my dad’s 60th birthday special. None of us had ever snorkeled before, so naturally, we were a bit anxious. However, an email from Sea Oman reassured us: “We have availability for 3 people on the 29th December for the snorkelling trip. It is no problem to join if you have never done it before, the team will explain what to do and it is very simple to pick up. If you do not enjoy snorkelling, you can explore the beaches and swim instead. We also have buoyancy aids/life jackets on board if you are not confident swimmers.”

Given this assurance, we trusted them and spent 30 OMR per person (about $105 CAD), which is no small sum. But we decided it was worth it for my dad’s birthday.

When we arrived at the islands and received our gear, we were utterly let down. The team provided absolutely zero instructions—just told us to swim. As beginners, we had no clue what we were doing and were quickly overwhelmed by the waves. The beaches, supposedly an alternative, were filled with sharp stones, making them equally unappealing. To make matters worse, another guest on the boat cut her arm after swimming too close to the rocks—something that could have easily been avoided if anyone had bothered to give basic safety instructions.

I can’t help but wonder if our experience would have been different if we didn’t appear as if we came from a developing country. When I asked for instructions, I was completely disregarded until I had to argue and mention that I live in Canada. Only then did they reluctantly offer some guidance.

Being stuck on the boat with no escape from this miserable experience only added to the frustration. This was, without a doubt, one of the most disappointing experiences of my life. If this is how Sea Oman handles snorkeling, I dread to think how careless they might be with something as serious as scuba diving.

Save your money and your sanity—do yourself a favor and choose a different company. Any other option would likely be better than this one. 100% do not recommend.

Great Experience

We did the ‘try sailing’ experience with Khalfan and it was sooo fun!! Each of us got to sail the boat and learn a lot about the teamwork involved and how to feel out the wind! We learned to see the wind. We felt like Moana in the best way!

Very enjoyable snorkelling trip

We did a snorkelling trip in the Daymaniyat islands. 2 stops: we saw a lot of turtles! Great food and organisation. If you want good service, not crowded boats and enjoy the nature, you should book a trio with SEAOMAN. The company helps also in preserving the nature and natural habitat of the turtles. Thanks to Suleiman and Iuma for the excellent service and pictures!

Breathtaking luxury experience

My family and I recommend this organization with our eyes closed!! There won't be a better choice for diving in Oman. An extremely professional team, attentive and attentive to every doubt or desire. Their boats are brand new and we spent 2 unforgettable days of diving with the Seaoman team. Whether inside the club, at the reception or at sea, they were most welcoming. Thanks again !

A well-organised snorkeling trip

What an amazing snorkeling trip to Daimaniyat islands today! We were very lucky and got a private trip with just the instructor and the boat’s captain. The instructor jumped in the water with us and showed us where to find turtles, reefs and fish, and then let us swim around for as long as we liked. We counted 16 turtles in total today in the three locations where we stopped for snorkeling. Sixteen! Sadly, we also saw a dead turtle with plastic wrapped around its leg. It made us all so mad! After that I collected all the waste that I saw when we stopped to walk on one of the islands (landing is only allowed during the winter months). Who comes to a nature reserve and leaves their water bottle behind?? Anyway, a fantastic trip which exceeded our expectations. We even had some fruits and chocolate although there was not supposed to be any food. We can warmly recommend SeaOman!

Nice staff but very unorganized

They combine snorkeling and diving on one boat. Not ideal for many reasons. Not very organised with their equipment. We can compare it to MOLA MOLA- there "our" bag for the day was ready, they left on time. With this organisation, it was the contrary. What I did not like: They gave no instructions how to snorkle on corals. People stood on them, even walked on them, one lady held on to a sea turtle! The Omanis need to be more strict! With no corals left - no tourists will come to dive in the future.

The team do usually give a briefing which includes "do not touch the corals or marine life" and am disappointed to hear this did not happen on your trip. We went with Barracuda Dive Centre on a dive weekend. It was really beautiful and we had a great time with Sea Oman. Juma, Nasser, Ahmed and Moyed were really professional, nice and funny. They made the whole trip enjoyable and would definitely recommend Sea Oman. See you again for the next trip soon.
