The Grand Mosque was beautiful and peaceful. The old city was a revelation with its old forts and small windy streets through arches, tunnel and the Harbour. The souq was as expected with busy bustling market places with lots of character. The Opera house was beautiful but you have to pay an extra 1.5 R to have a short guided tour but it was well worth it. The driver was helpful and kind but did not have too much information to share.

We booked a full day trip to Nizwa and Grand Canyon in december. Aftab came to our hotel to pick up and then we spent a delighful day with him.
The guide was prepared and explained lot of things about Oman history and art. His italian language was perfect and my mother was very happy to talk with him.
We saw lot of things in Nizwa and had launch in a very nice restaurant in Al Hamra before ascending Jabal Shams. His hospitality was great and we felt as we ever lived in Oman.

To begin, I am not a tourist but a resident of Muscat. Anyway, we had the pleasure of going on a day tour to Nizwa and Jabel Akhdar with Yasser Al Maamari as our host for the day. From the moment we met him in the morning to the moment he dropped us off at the end of the day, it was an absolute delight having him with us and being our Guide for the day.
The vehicle we used was spacious, clean, cool and comfortable and he adhered strictly to COVID-19 hygiene and precautions at all times of the day. Vehicle was well equipped with water, face masks and hand sanitizer which was good.
His knowledge and experience of the areas we visited was first class and he knew exactly where to take us to get the best photos in the mountains and best bargains in Nizwa Souq. A very kind and polite person who was always willing to assist us wherever needed. I was constantly asking questions and Yasser answered them all with great detail!
I would not hesitate recommend Al Maamari Tours to anyone who wishes to see the sights and sounds of Oman. You will not get a better company anywhere to make your visit to Oman so enjoyable and interesting.

My family recently spent several days in Oman, we visited Muscat, went high into the Mountains and in to the desert! This is a beautiful country with beautiful people. One person we met on our adventure holiday was Yasser from Al Maamari Travel and Tours. He picked us up from our accommodation in Muscat and showed us the sights of Muscat and drove us up in to the mountains and then took us to several spectacular sights on the way to our overnight desert destination. We highly recommend him and is company, as very reliable, friendly, informative, fun, caring, kind and nothing was any trouble, He gave us some awesome tips along the way and through him we got an appreciation and understanding of the culture and country of Oman. Thank you so much for all you showed us and did for us, we really enjoyed our holiday and meeting you made the holiday even more enjoyable. They have many sightseeing options and we highly recommend Yasser and his team to anyone wanting to experience a beautiful country as Oman.

Trip was very well organized and stood out because of the proactive service since they checked in regularly if we were ok and if a change of plans was required. Also on any question we had we got an immediate response. In conclusion, excellent services tailored to your needs to visit and experience the beauty of Oman.

Al Maamari Tours put together a full tour with rental car (4x4) for us in which we saw almost the entire country. The rental car was top, so were the accommodation hotels and the service was super! Jasmin kept in touch via whatsapp the whole route, so we never had to ask or look for anything ourselves. So I definitely recommend Al Maamari Tours to my clients.

We had a wonderful experience with Al Maamari. Communication was perfect in the weeks before travelling, Jasmin is incredibly responsive and a pleasure to be in touch with. The quality of their service is truly impeccable. Our guide Al Roby went constantly above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and special, with his tips, recommendations and guidance to do things a bit off the beaten track. Would definitely recommend.

With Al Maamari Tours we found a very competent partner for our Oman trip.
Even the initial contact was exceptional. We sent an enquiry with a suggested route to Al Maamari.
After only one hour, Jasmin gave us an optimised route with time, price and hotel details.
During our private tour, everything worked out excellently. During the tour around Muscat, we had Aftab as our guide and driver.
Aftab proved to be extremely competent, friendly, helpful and caring. During our stay in Salalah, Ahmed took care of us.
We can only report positive things about him as well. Both of them were more than eager to make our trip as pleasant and eventful as possible.
We can highly recommend Al Maamari Tours.

Very kind and professional! Planned a perfect and individual tour for us and gave us a lot of good advice and recommendations (also during the trip via WhatsApp). The rental car - a 4x4 wheeler - was brand new and a perfect fit for us. I can highly recommend them!

Must do! Aftab is an amazing guide. Smart, knowledgeable, patient, open minded, curious, talkative. In two days we got full insight of history, geography, culture, politics, sociology, habits, gastronomy, special sights, relaxation, you really get to know the real Oman in just... 2 days! Must do!
