4 of us visited the Chateau in a guided tour, with Sebastian as our guide. Everything was excellent and we had a substantial history, architecture and cultural lesson. I would certainly request Sebastian.

As one of the land excursions of our river cruise, the castle and chapel were beautiful in the Bordeaux setting. The tour guide happened to be the owner, whose family has lived in the castle for over 700 years. He was very informative and passionate...More

It's a very nice lineup of châteaux you've got—they're all interesting and are worth a visit, but since you'll be south of Bordeaux for the first visit, there's no way you'll make it 50 km north of the city to get to Lynch-Bages on time. (If nothing else, you can expect the visit at La Mission Haut-Brion to finish around 11:30.) Then you'd have do drive all the way down to Sauternes from the Médoc to get to Yquem; that's a lot of driving. Based on the timetable you've got, you'll have to...More
