The crater itself is interesting, walking around it is not. My recommendation: turn RIGHT (anti clockwise) when facing the crater, visit it and then turn back. Walking around the crater does not add anything.

We too discovered this via TA and are happy to confirm it is well worth seeking out if you are in the area. It's very easy to find, unspoilt and free - a great way to spend an hour or so and a lovely little...More

We had read about this on tripadvisor and hence sought it out, it can be a bit difficult to find but is worth it, we went on our own and enjoyed the walk and scenery.

this volcano is just outside of the national park so its possible to walk around the area well worth a look but u need to take plenty of water as its really hot work ! and good shoes are needed because of the rough terrain

A hidden gem, not more hidden anymore I guess. Hop off the car and get ready to walk for a few minutes. Enjoy the breathtaking landscape and go into the crater. You won´t forget it.

Better known as La Cuerva rather than Raven. Free to visit, not a taxing walk. Great views back into timanfqya park. Unlike Montana's fuego you can actually walk into the crater Wear some boots or trainers though. Directions in earlier review will help you to...More
