We arranged a family Segway experience for my son's 13th birthday as a party would have been tricky due to Covid restrictions. We'd already had one Segway trip on a vineyard in S. Africa which was great fun and we were pleased to find a venue quite local to us and advertising half price tickets. We weren't disappointed- we had some riding in a field then in a woodland with more bumps and slopes and then on a speed circuit to race each other. It was a great outing and we had lots of fun!

We have done quite a lot of Segway, mainly city tours abroad, but a few in the UK too. This was really great fun. Even though we knew what we were doing on a Segway it was quite right for them to check. Then we were off into the farmland of fields and woods. In one of the fields there was a track and we had a timed contest, great fun.
Both Alex and Gemma were excellent as they explained everything, made sure we were always safe and very good company too. This was a birthday present from us to someone else and I had made a private booking so there were just the 4 of us and we had an hour instead of the normal 45 minutes. 45 minutes is absolutely fine and plenty for most people, we have just got the bug a bit!
I can highly recommend this as a good thing to do for a birthday, celebration, or just for a bit of fun.

I surprised my best friend for his birthday and Karem went above and beyond to make the experience so special for us with lots of added touches. It was so much fun and the two guides we had; Will and Matt were fantastic and really lovely guys. It is very clear that ‘Segway Unleashed’ truly care about their customers and go the extra mile to show kindness and compassion. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, and plan to return for more fun as a family next time. Thanks guys...we absolutely loved it today and had a great time. Lots of fun and laughter, and amazing pictures from Matt. Thanks guys x

I did 45 mins segway experience with my teenager son. We both loved it so much that my son planned his 16th birthday party with them. All the boys & girls who attended had a big smile on their face & now they all want to do it. The instructor & the photographer both were very friendly and helpful. Thank you to the Segway Unleashed team.

Purchased tickets online through groupon and booked a same day session. Venue is difficult to find as the sign on the road is barely visible. Staff are really friendly and the kids had a great time. Highly recommend.

A great Sunday morning experience. Our instructor, Matt, was very friendly and explained really well how to ride the Segways, warning us of common gotchas etc.
My husband was very skeptical beforehand, but now wants to do it again!

I brought a wowcher voucher for this which made it fabulous value for money!
This was our second time on segways (our first being with go ape)
First impressions were quite poor as you pull into the car park as the building they operate out of is practically a shed...
The segways however were all ready and waiting and on charge!
I completely disagree with the review below that states you need elbow pads knee pads and a back brace!!!! I wonder if these are worn by that reviewer whilst cycling?!? As a Segway is self balancing you shouldn't really fall off?!? A helmet is perfectly adequate in my eyes (however would agree they need more in different sizes)
You had your test run at 4mph on an almost flat field... Those struggling got extra tuition from Kieran. We then did a few laps of the woods which was bumpy off road terrain! We then did timed laps of a course which was great fun seeing how much the Segway would do at it's max speed of 12mph!
We were a big group so were split in 2 with half doing and half watching!
Kieran and Joe were lovely. They took great action photos on the way round and a bundle can be brought for £10.
Much more freedom than go ape... Got to see what a Segway can do!

I never realised that falling on my butt would make me laugh so much. A really fun way to spend an afternoon whether as a couple or as a group.
Very friendly, easy to arrange.

Our party of 4 have all been on segways before, in far more exotic locations, but on a very slippery pot holed woodland track, 3 of us had falls, mine most serious (have now been signed off work for a week). The guys on site were good, but no medical advice offered. Disappointed.

I am trying to contact them about my booking but I have had no reply & it says their office is closed even though I am phoning within their opening times. Please help!
