Another great visit
Jun 2021 • Friends
Our first visit since lockdown last year and we had another great day. Would love it if you kept the timed slots on the soft play (especially during half terms) as it was so much calmer and restricting how many people were in the petting room was also lovely as we actually got to see everything without feeling squashed and rushed. Park was immaculate as always and all the animals were out so we saw loads. All staff we interacted with were happy and friendly. My only negative is the new dinosaur walkthrough. It’s not suitable for prams which I think is a terrible oversight. If I’d been there on my own with my child he wouldn’t have been able to go in as I have a new born in a pram.
Apart from that, fantastic day and we will be back.

Granddaughters’ delight
Jun 2021 • Family
We took our granddaughters aged 5 & 3 and had a grand day out. Plenty of animals to see and several to hold, excellent adventure playground, abundant space (including shaded areas on a hot day). The management have sensibly continued the number restrictions for the Play Barn and the requirement for masks indoors. The staff were friendly and helpful and happy to chat to Isla (5). We could easily have spent longer than our four hours there (the ticket is for all day) but the little ones were tired from their adventure. Perhaps the signage in the car park could be a little clearer but that’s a small point.

A great experience even in a difficult day.
Jul 2021 • Family
Hats off to the staff today who managed to stay friendly and professional despite battling flooding after a sudden storm!!
We had a fantastic day here, loads to see and do, the play areas are fantastic and my son would happily have spent longer there.
The highlight for him was the piglets learning to do the pig race.
Staff were all friendly and helpful and really couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome.
Thanks for a great day.

A Fab day out!
Jul 2021
I led a school trip of 50 year 2 children to the farm and we had an absolute ball!
The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, the grounds were well kept, the animals well loved and looked after and the adventure playground and zip wire were so good it was a battle to tear the children away! Having visited the farm on many occasions with my own daughters over the years I could see the tea room has been upgraded with modern outdoor eating facilities and the whole place is equipped with sanitizers, soap and sinks - very covid safe. There is an issue with running water (minimal flow) in some of the toilets but thankfully this doesn't seem to be a problem in the sinks around the animal touching areas. I would highly recommend a visit to Godstone farm - it's full of fun activities, learning about onsite animals, efficient services, a great shop and lots of fresh air! Thanks to all the staff who made our school outing so great!

What a fab place!
Jun 2021
What a fab place! We took our 3 year old and 8 month old twins.

FARM - The farm was a perfect size for our 3 year old, the layout meant she didn't have to walk too far between animals and the raised platforms made viewing everything easier. The animals looked happy and had space to roam. Everything had been carefully thought about, filling spare ground with homegrown fruit, vegetable and herbs (all extra learning). The paths were uneven (as expected for a farm), but we were able to get the double buggy around easily. The petting area was lovely, my daughter got a good amount of time to hold her favourite rabbit.

FOOD - we ate in the Courtyard kitchen, sitting outside. The food was tasty, and very reasonable. My husbands burger was clearly not your standard bulk made rubbish, but homemade and yummy. Highchairs available for the babies and a very convenient large outdoor sand kitchen for our daughter to play in whilst we finished our lunch. Again, lovely finishing touches, our boys loved watching the all the brightly coloured pom poms that had been hung in the eating area.

OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND - Wow! What a great area to just let your children run free, with the grassed slope opposite the playground, we could keep an eye on our daughter easily (and enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside). With the large playground catering for varying ages and the huge sandpit, my daughter was in her element! And there was a good little food stall near by, again, not selling overpriced ice creams!

STAFF - What a lovely, caring bunch! There to help and always smiling.

Thank you Godstone Farm, we had a lovely day and can't wait to come back again soon!

Godstone with two, two year olds.
Jun 2021
We visited a dampTues morning, a few other families around with pre-schoolers, and two schools visiting - approx 60 children.

Very Covid-safe - lots of reminders and facilities to wash hands. Good access - despite recent torrential rain there wasn't too much mud for 2 x 2yr olds to trudge through. Plenty of benches to sit and have a rest. Very friendly staff.

Despite the mud, the toilets were clean - loved that in family toilet facility there was an adult and a child toilet in same cubicle.

Did see rats in with chickens, as another reviewer mentioned.

Children loved the outdoor play areas.

Ours loved the dinosaur trail too.

Godstone farm visit
Jun 2021 • Couples
I visited Godstone farm today with my disabled daughter. Prior to our visit I phoned to check it was disabled friendly. They assured me it was. And that plenty of disabled people have been before. It's definitely not disabled friendly. It would appear the farms only concern is to make money. Animal pens are small not suitable to animals health. Example chicken pens are overrun with rat's. We all know Rats carry disease. Chicken's are plucking their feathers out of boredom. The eggs that the rat's have been climbing all over are on sale in the gift shop for the public to buy. Regards

Great place for a family!
Jun 2021
Visited with a 13 month child, parents and grandfather. What a great place, easy to get in fro (COVID), times entry. The place had plenty of sanitation points and staff and most people wore masks. Animals were well set out and the rabbit my granddaughter was able to stroke was lovely. Staff were very helpful and efficient. Loved the place except when we had drinks and cake, the cake was very dry

Disappointing and Not Family Friendly
Jun 2021
We had to book the visit three weeks in advance and planned to enjoy their large outdoor playground but unfortunately, on that day it was raining cats and dogs. Of course, the indoor areas were packed and we had to queue under the rain to get in. We got cold and left just an hour after the arrival. I've tried to contact customer services, asking to let us visit the farm another day, but they refused. This is disappointing, many other parks do have a 'rainy day' policy, but not this place. Be careful.

Great play area but everything else was disappointing
Jun 2021 • Family
We visited with our 2yr old son today and left feeling very disappointed. It’s a lot smaller than expected and the dinosaur trail was basically three plastic models in a teeny bit of woods.
The outdoor play areas are excellent - and we will probably be back at some point just for that, but the ‘farm’ experience was really dull. Poor signage and zero maps on display too.
