The Great Temple is but one of the many structures left in Hattusa. It is truly mesmerizing to walk the clearly marked streets of this ancient city. The best views are from the ramparts of the Royal Palace looking down to the city.

One of the best kept secrets in Turkey is Hattusa near Corum. There is a wealth of history and culture of the Hittite civilization. It is a huge area to explore as you walk through ancient times. Fortunately, this area is not over-run by crazy masses of tourists with selfie sticks, and let's hope it remains untrampled.

One of the most interesting and mysterious ancient cities in Turkey... Efes much bigger but buildings of Hattuşaş are much much more older. Megalits which we can see at the place of Hett temples obviously could be made only by progressive technologies. I believe they belong to older unknown civilizations.

The road is a bit rough. But we went comfortably. You can visit the interior by car. The museum card passes. There were many queues. By driving outdoors, you stop in the arrow-marked area and visit certain places.
