Their food and cocktails were good. Beautiful interiors and clean washrooms. What else you want. The beach is clean and very minimal hawkers, so less disturbance. You can chill and relax without getting disturbed. Though the price of food and beverages was on a higher side as compared to Baga beach. Free parking is also available at a distance.Visited February 2024Traveled with familyWritten March 26, 2024

We had gorgeous food and drinks at the GOAFORNIA Beach Lounge followed by dance to Shammi Kapoor numbers. We are all senior citizens and had loads of fun on the sandy floor. Staff at GOAFORNIA encouraged us to have our funfilled go. We asked for a whole red snapper grilled with butter, garlic and pepper. Though they didn't have red snapper in stock, they specially got one from the market for us. It was just superb!Visited September 2024Traveled with friendsWritten September 24, 2024

I've known mandrem/morjim from 5years ago. Now these places have become very popular with russian tourists. Too loud at night, too much alcool and disrespectfull behavior. Sorry to say but who wants to stay on a goan beach where most boards and signs are written in russian and even the hawkers call after you in russian?

I visited this beach twice for morning walk and one can see sunrise from exactly middle of entire beach where rocks are there. I didn't feel to get into water as the sand is black and seemed it had sudden deep than normal shallow beaches like Calangute or Vagator. There are few nice restaurants and some water sports activities as well with less crowd compared to other beaches.

The beach is far off from the city centre taking around 35-45 minutes to reach depending upon the traffic conditions. The water is clear but there is no provision of shaks and chairs where you can keep your stuff and relax. We were a family of four with two young kids and had to stand the whole time and keep our stuff on the sand. It’s less polluted but there are almost no water sports over here. No good restaurants too where you can have a bite to eat. Also this time there were a lot of cows and dogs sitting and roaming around on the beach. Can be missed out completely.

We have had 3 lovely day at Jasmine beach resort in Morjim. How it has changed from the last time we were there. The hut we stayed in was new. It was really nice. The other people who were staying were great. The staff were so good. The food was there very good. We will be going after going to other parts of India

Morjim beach, north of Calangute, is cleaner and less crowded than the more known names. You’ll still have to deal with some hawkers but much less than further south. Plenty of beach huts catering for families and singles during the day and plenty of partying after sundown

Very dirty with plastics, bottles & all kinds of rubbish, also broken glass. The black sediments on the beach, maybe from fires is not attractive. Could not sleep as thump thump noise (music) starts late at night in the morning and difficult to enjoy eating at beach. Big shame such a change is permitted.

Amazing beach for the sunset, looking for a peace then visit this place. Although it’s far from North Goa. It took around 40 mins via 2 wheeler but must say it is one of the best beach that I have experienced in India. The sunset view is beautiful from this beach. I would recommend you to add this in your bucket-list if you planning to visit Goa.

How much does it cost to reach morjim beach from goa airport?
Is there any easy transportation option from airport to morjim beach?
Written March 17, 2019
If you take a pre-paid taxi from inside the airport it will cost you around Rs. 1800-2000. Taxi is a monopoly business in Goa and is expensive. No ola or Uber. And inside Goa it is quite difficult to find a taxi as well. While in Goa you may hire a self-drive bike or car to move around - it will be much cheaper and convenient too.

Hey Goa lovers and frequent traveller's. Suggest me selecting if we 4 guys should prefer staying at morjim beach over the weekend during late November 2018 ?
We are planning to stay in a hostel near to a neat and clean beach where we can get good food and wine along friendly and young people to hang around with.
Is morjim a choice ?
Written October 22, 2018
There is Wanderers hostel in Morijim. That's where I stayed in December. It's cheap and best.

hi. is it good to invest in a beach shack at morjim.
Written December 26, 2017
Since Morjim beach is a turtle nesting ground.... it’s under forest department control...so I don’t think they allow many shacks to up...!
I am unclear on your question... by invest do you mean to set up a shack or invest your time on a holiday at a shack at this beach...

Hi Can you recommend a bit hut to stay in at Morjim beach normally stay at ashram but getting to noisy.
Thanks
Jenny
Written December 14, 2015
Hi Jenny
Not sure if got ur q right about the kind of stay u want. You can stay at Montego Bay village which is bang on the beach. Will cost around INR 4K per night. Other options are Marbella in the same range. If you are looking for cheaper options like a homestay then I saw few options in that area. Some people were renting out their rooms but don't know the price.
