We opted for a couples honey massage with access to the spa for the whole day with the robes/towels etc. This was €248 for the day on a Sunday which isn't the most expensive we've been too. The variety of pools available and saunas, Hammam and steam rooms were great too and the facilities were really great. The pools were a great temperature and it was an enjoyable time. I'd avoid their cafe/restaurant though - not a great choice or selection there but the rest of the spa was amazing. Free parking too which was useful for us.

I used to go in Monticello Spa; In my last visit, in february 2018, I had a huge surprise: the panoramic sauna during sunset is amazing!!!!!
Pro: saunas, outside swimming pool, the view
Contro: The price, I found 36 Euro quite expensive, in London is cheaper than here. No slippers, only one towels. To be honest you can use also the gym. (The Zumba trainer was great, sorry I don't remember the name).
Try it!

Very poorly managed and frequented even worst.
There were only 7-8 people/ groups in front of us , but it took 40 min to enter because one receptionist was taking the time to casually chat to the guests , pretending to look classy.
In the meanwhile, the other receptionist was dividing herself between her desk and the towel/ bathrobe distribution.
Bathrobes and slippers do not have a number and guests pick up the first one they find.
Staff only care about the locals: if you are a visitor from outside , they are very rude .
The bar is in the hall, you cannot pay with the armband and unless you have booked they almost kick you out if you ask whether there is a place.
We were told we could eat “something light” in the kiosk inside, but they only had aperitive snacks.
The spa is full with locals who are constantly on their mobile phones or noisily drinking alcohol.
My friend got bullied by a visitor in the long queue for the kiosk. She stood next to him to stsbd in the shadow and he accused her of jumping the queue ( while I was still standing behind him!) .
Make this paradise a private club for locals, everybody will be better off!!!

I had time and I needed to spoil myself, so I thought to visit Monticello Spa, which seems to have a good reputation in the area.
Entry ticket cost me euro 35 and I cannot see any value for the money I paid.
Next time I simply head to the swimming pool or I indulge in a hot bath at home.
There I could even have the option of a scented bath soup or mineral.

Overall water at Monticello Spa was not warm enough for a spa. It states 35 Celsius. I doubt or it should increase over summer time.

There are 7/8 smaller rooms which are supposed to offer pampering spa experiences. I found that only one of them was right, a large steam room with a pool in the middle. Another smaller steam room was ok but not warm enough to my opinion. In fact it was empty. Some rooms were under maintenance. Maybe they should discount entry ticket until these are fixed?

Sauna was off. It seemed it cold be used only at specific times... I find it incredible.
Is it too much asking for a working sauna in a spa where I paid euro 35 to enter?

Sauna with "fieno", the dried grass, was simply not hot. In fact, it was empty.
There was a room with weak sprinkles of water directed to your ankles. I didn't see the point and in fact it was empty.
A dark room with showers which were supposed to release a scent along with colourful light on your head. Nice concept, which unfortunately has poorly executed. Room was empty. Water was cold.

So I raised my concern with the spa team member who was overseeing the area.
I was pretty much shocked by his unprofessional and childish answer: "I don't know Ms, I didn't project and design this place".
If that's the level of professionalism, I'm better off keeping my money in my pocket and not have a spa treatment like a massage.

After 30 minutes (mainly spent in the indoor and outdoor pool, which was not hot enough and do not ether provide nice views) I decided to leave.
Shower in the changing room was OMG the worst of my life! And I changed 3 of them hoping to find a better one. You need to push hard the button to get water pump. This lasts 10 seconds. So annoying.

I'm not sure who owns or manages this place but they should probably change business or spend the next 12 months learning about spas.
Would never recommend this place to ether tourists or locals.
Tourists would get disappointed. Locals would get a total wrong idea of what a spa is. Shame!

WORST EXPERIENCE FOR A COUPLE BIRTHDAY !
We booked a package for a couple at 160€ the day and couldn’t be more disappointed by the service and bad quality of the place.
First of all, the place was overcrowded, it looked like a municipal pool, with tons people walking around without respecting the sanitary measures.
We couldn’t even find a chair to put our towel on and relax. All the pools were packed and the hammam wasn’t working. The facilities were dirty and tons of towels were on the floor disorganized !
But the worst was the cafeteria: first, the cafeteria is in the hallway: it looks like a train station cafeteria, really not relaxing for a spa, then we waited for two hours to be seated: we came at 2 pm, the waitress told us we had to reserve a table, so we did and came back 30min later. At 2:30pm we came and she wasn’t even responding when we showed her that we were here for the table. We got seated only at 3 pm, after waiting 30min standing in the hallway. When she finally agreed to sit us somewhere, she didn’t even set the table for us. She then told us there were only toast and piadines left. We chose two of them with speck, eggplant, cheese and vegetables. We waited again for on hour and whenever I was trying to talk to her she would hide behind the office and send her colleague talk to me.
Finally after one hour waiting, they brought the most ridiculous thing ever: there was only bread and one slice of ham, we didn’t even get a knife and a fork, like animals!
On top of that, we see all the other tables getting poke bowl and salads while the waitress said we couldn’t order it anymore cause it was over!! This is really disrespectful to treat people like this ! Because of this we had to postpone our massage and missed the wellness ceremony that we paid for!
The only positive point was the 30min massage, that was nice.
But moral of the story: don’t go there if you expect a nice spa and a relaxing moment! On top of that don’t try to eat there if you’re a foreigner, cause that’s the woman in the cafeteria apparently makes a big difference between Italians and foreigners.
It’s really shameful !!!

Dear user, thank you for your review. We are very sorry your experience was not good. First of all, we'd like to clarify that the safety is extremely important for us and, for this reason, we have adopted a strict protocol that provides the control of the Green Pass at the entrance, temperature measurement, use of the mask, spacing and frequent sanitation of the Center. The hammam was temporarily converted into a relax room as regulated by law. On the website you can find all the informations. About the Bistrot, we’d like to clarify that the bar service is always available, while the kitchen is open at certain times slots and therefore, we recommend booking your table in advance in high season. Hoping to please her, lunch was also honored. However, we thank you for sharing your opinion and wish you a good day.

Decided to have some relaxation time today. Monticello is closer to home than others so that was our destination by default. The pools are quite good but the upkeep is lacking....if you look closely, you'll see that the bottoms and sides are cracking and peeling. The saline pool is very mildly salted. In the sauna area, despite numerous signs asking people to respect silence in the various areas, it gets quite loud (we even heard shrieking as someone got doused with cold water) and sometimes resembled a water park rather than a place of recreation.
