Disappointed with the food included in our Spa package. Bland, bland then too spicy, for someone with a pretty high spice level.
Had Korean Burger….no salt , tasteless and bland. Asked for salt as none on table. Food needs to be cooked with salt, not added at the end. Mentioned the salt and spice and got …..no response just a bland smile!
On the other hand I had a very nice massage. However, my Daughter had the same type of massage and was disappointed. The hot oil was “spread” over her as opposed to mine being massaged in! Two entirely different experiences.
So not the day we hoped for. We won’t be back as there is a “better spa experience “ closer to home🤷♀️

From the minute we walked in there was a warm welcome, friendly staff giving all the information you need, the facilities are immaculate clean and fresh, the food in Nu sauna was gorgeous, the spa treatments were explained and tailored to us, very relaxing atmosphere and surroundings, it was busy but it’s so vast that there’s more than enough room for everyone, the smoothies are great and all staff happy to help all round amazing experience!! We will be back very soon.

Spa afternoon including afternoon tea with family, appalling.
Dry sandwiches, waited for a long time for drinks to be served, which came after we had finished sandwiches.
Spa is very small, with limited facilities, we had paid for spa garden only to be told their booking system wasn’t working so we couldn’t use the garden, and it was fully booked. No apology.
The place was packed and clearly over booked, people, including ourselves had to stand around waiting for chairs and loungers to be come vacant. A lack of clean towels in the changing rooms, and those which were there were threadbare.
£3.50 for a small glass of warm Coca Cola and no ice was available. We left early because there was nowhere to sit.
The list could go one.
Less than acceptable for £130 per person for 3 hours.
We’ll not be returning.

So luxurious, spa garden is fantastic, facilities are top notch and all staff very welcoming and helpful. Treatment was so relaxing the 2 course dinner at Nu Sana was amazing

We had an amazing spa day today , all staff around the spa were very attentive but not over the top. Beds around all areas meant we weren't fighting for somewhere to relax. We used the spa garden which was amazing! And had a fabulous treatment.
Huge thanks to the amazing Paul who looked after us round the spa and Rachel for the amazing massage, we can't wait to go back 😀

My husband kindly treated me for my birthday to a overnight stay with breakfast & dinner. I was taken back with the service by all the staff, we received a lovely warm welcome by a chauffeur. The reception staff who couldn't do enough. Our superior room was amazing, with a large comfortable bed, luxury furniture & a generous ensuite.
The spa was immaculate, with many experiences to offer, for which we took full advantage. We even upgraded to the outdoor spa garden- which is a must!
However, the hot drinks machine was out of order & we found it difficult to order other drinks, as there wasn't any staff around. When someone did come along he wasn't very please when we stopped him to take an order. Apart from that we enjoyed every minute of the spa garden.
The evening meal at the club house however, was unfortunately a let down. I ordered the butter chicken curry- it was bland & tangy, I had two spoons & couldn't eat any more, the waiter kindly swapped it for me, the salmon & haddock fishcake was an improvement. Although I was disappointed with the food, the service was outstanding, from all the restaurant staff.
We hope to return to this lovely spa in the near future.

Had such a a lovely day here, the experience was amazing from start to finish. The gym and spa facilities were top notch and the massage treatment was insane! Would definitely recommend and will be back.

We stayed here as a birthday treat for myself, and it was just fabulous, all the staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble.
The spa was amazing, we had dinner in the orangery, we need to give a huge thank you to Poppy who did a fabulous job of looking after us, very knowledgeable and clearly very good at her job. Also the sommelier was great (but can't remember his name)
Overall we had the best time and will be back soon. Thank you so much.

Lovely spa, thoroughly recommend it. Lots of different rooms - sauna, hot room, ice room. Great outside hot tub.

Fab breakfast made by alyshia excellent eggs and presention was perfect and service by Helen was 10 out 10 as always the team at the golf club always give 5 star service thanks again recommend best breakfast in Darlington
