ATV trails

No hiking trails here, all ATV use. Theses go for kilometres and are challenging and muddy in some spots.

Worth the climb to Tom's Lookout

My husband and I enjoy hiking and we benefited from our hosts who explained where to park to find the trail head. (There are many trails for hiking in the area, but sadly they are not well marked). There are over 18 kms. of trails available in Thomas P. Murray Recreational Trails, but our favourite--and it would seem of the more popular trail--is Gun Mountain Trail that leads up to Tom's Look-out! Certainly worth the climb. The trails are wide to accommodate not only hikers, but those who prefer ATVing.

We climbed to Tom's Scenic Look Out. Great views. Lots of trails to choose from. A nice adventure. Limited parking.

Lovely trails for motorized vehicles

Unfortunately, we were looking for walking trails for a nature hike. These trails, although very lovely, are meant more for motorized vehicles.
