What a fun day out! I booked for 9 members of my family and we all had a great time. We did the 3 hour/10km trip which was perfect. It took less than 3 hours but if we had taken a picnic it would have taken longer. We had 4 x 2 man kayaks and one x one person canoe. Everyone capsized at least once apart from the one man canoe but it was all fun and you get quite hot so a dip was very welcome. The water is not cold.
Initially we met at their base in Roquebrun and were given paddles and life jackets. Helmets were also available. A coach took us upriver to Vieussan where we had a briefing in French and collected our canoes. The yellow/green ones have back rests behind the seats and i would recommend these over the orange/red ones. There are rapids very soon after you enter the water and my girlfriend and I both fell in; we soon got back in and enjoyed the scenery and got the hang of steering and paddling. There did not seem to be too many canoes on the water when we went. We were in a group of 5 boats and took it in turns to go through the rapids. A lot of fun and would do it again. We bought some photos from the photographer who was positioned by one set of rapids. I think it was about 80 Euros for all 68 of his pictures of our group.

We took 2 kayaks out on the 10k run and could not recommend it highly enough. The staff are great, especially Rob who gave us great tips. You get a water tight barrell to put belongings in. We loved that although the staff get You to where you start and brief you, you can do the trail by yourself at your own pace. Such a beautiful river and views, many places to stop for a break/lunch. For a beginner is challenging enough without throwing you on at the 'deep end' 😉 Good value for money!

We took 2 2 seater canoes on the shortest trip (5km). We went very slowly as all novices and it took about 2 hours once in the water (half an hour after the advertised start time due to the transfer and talk).

A great company and a wonderful way to spend part or all of a day. The Orb is a beautiful river with just the right amount of challenging passages and calm. You can buy sandwiches in the cafe beforehand for a picnic on the river. When you get back, enjoy a cold beer with a wonderful view of the city of Roquebrun.
The location also offers an excellent restaurant at night, which is also not to be missed. Altogether a favorite stop on our trip. We hope to return!

4 adults took the 10 klm descent in 2 canoes today . The staff were wonderful and explained techniques in a briefing beforehand. We set off and capsized a few times at rapids in the beginning and then we remembered what we had been told. We laughed a lot had the best of fun. We were introduced to the wonderful world of the river. Some people picnicked on the way ( water tight drum supplied ). Highly recommended Thank you. We will be back.

Amazing day out. We booked the 3 hour/10km trip - the was just the right amount of time. We were able to take a picnic with us which we stored in a waterproof barrel that was provided for us & could easily stop along the route. Would highly recommend- great day out.

Love it . I have made it a sort of tradition to go every year . It’s truly a 10/10 experience. You pick your paddles and gear and head up the river in a van ( further or shorter depending on distance picked), once at the top you pick your canoe and get and safety briefing . You then set of on your adventure. There are big rapids long calm sections , fast exiting parts , and on your way there are little beaches to stop and snack , or big rocks to jump of for fun . You can go down in your own time , quickly or really slowly , there’s no time limit . I really love it and recommend it to everyone, young or old .

A huge thank you to the whole team! You literally saved our weekend 😅! A great welcome despite our last minute booking and our late arrival.
We did the 3-day kayak hike, with the discovery of beautiful landscapes, wild, but also local wildlife. With rapids that add a little adrenaline 👌. Everything was perfect! Great organization, a very pro team that makes everything run like on wheels, all in a great atmosphere.
The guinguette is definitely worth a visit as well, for the service, as for the kitchen.

Great afternoon on the short course. Very friendly team with good business sense! Good organisation. Very beautiful and pleasant setting!! Good balance between peaceful stroll and at the same time small rapids. Water level completely satisfactory: we never walked to pull our canoe and we often stopped to swim.

Bonjour, je vous réponds un an après, j’espère que cela pourras vous être utile quand même.
Oui, il y a des rapides plus ou moins difficiles. J’y suis allé deux fois, je suis tombé quelques fois mais nous avons des casques, des gilets de sauvetage et l’eau de la rivière dépasse rarement les un mètre de profondeur (en été).

Bonjour, comme indiqué précédemment, oui c'est tout à fait possible pour un enfant de 8 ans. A condition qu'il sache nager et qu'il soit accompagné.
Pour les tous petits (moins de 6/7 ans ou qui ne savent pas nager) il y a également la possibilité de faire un tour de canoë sur le plan d'eau devant la base de canoë à Roquebrun, au calme, sans risque de chavirer dans un rapide.
