Bit windswept, but nice walk. Good to have war memorial, but could have a bit more to celebrate the history of the service in ww2. The guiding club seem to do as much as they can do to stop you enjoying the space. On rainy...More

very enjoyable walk in you get the weather, notice boards with loads of information on them and the gliders over head. go here every day just to blow away cob webs

Its an open airfield, so no need to worry about trespassing, enter via Fenmore Road. off Hayes Lane.
