Another memorial that tugs at the heartstrings. Yet another very sad memorial yet set in such a wonderfully manicured area - such a great contrast to the events and conditions faced by the soldiers of the day.

My husbands Grandfather fought in the 1st WW. This memorial was particularly meaningful. It’s located in a beautiful setting. There is no cemetery here. Just the memorial. A quiet peaceful place to reflect.
