This place is incredible! You have to go deep down into the cellars to see the old wines and cheeses! The vanilla cookies were the best i ever had. The 10 year old Bitto cheese is to die for! Really a fun culinary experience!

If you ever happen to come to Morbegno the Ciapponi is a must to see. The selection of local cheese - especially the Bitto is unique - unluckily also quite expensive.

Our tour guide Luca recommended this place. This is how you imagine a real Italian market to be. The store itself is fantastic. But, if you can arrange to go to the 3 level underground wine cellar and the underground cheese aging area it will...More

This place is a big piece of history - the love of generations for the good food! You can't leave Morbegno without visiting this "food museum", and without buying a piece of Bitto cheese, and Sforzato wine!
