Thus termed out to be a real gem, rather off the main tourist track.

There is a very good set of (outdoor) exhibits of the history of limestone mining in Malta, with a good audio guide, and a really nice garden. Amidst the brown of the island in summer is was lovely to walk among trees and water. Also a nice little shop.

I visited with my husband last April. It was not very busy so we enjoyed taking our time around the rehabilitated quarry, the exhibits and the overview of the methods and tools related to quarrying. The introductory video gives a good opening. The design of the exhibits and the environment are well-thought. I would perhaps add an interactive platform on screen for visitors. We savoured a drink at the end whilst enjoying the rehabilitated view.

Not only for the Covid safety precautions taken but also for the excellent service received and good food served turned our evening into a relaxing one. Good value for money, impeccable service and high standards of cleanliness. Also seeing that place is being conserved and nature respected makes you appreciate more the place and the ambience.

Amazing! Wonderful history, beautiful gardens! We sampled the most tastiest olives and had a limoncello demonstration and sample, made with lemons picked in the moment from their trees! It was a true highlight of our trip to Malta thanks to tours by locals, our guide Josette! And the owner and his family of Limestone Heritage Park and Gardens who made it one of our fondest memories.

Visited the centre on 14/08/2020 and had a wonderful time. The history of the uses of limestone was so interesting, the gardens amazing and best of all I tried my hand at limestone carving. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely visit again.

Our daughter found this venue online so my wife and I arranged to check it out. We paid 9 euros each to visit and had a lovely experience. The time it takes you to go around depends on how interested you are in certain parts of the history. There are head phones for about ten different languages. They also have a museum with historic artifacts. For the younger generations there are animals to pet. Goats and donkeys, also chickens and a couple of peacocks roam around. We also went to one of their Maltese evenings that they perform on some evenings. They can pick you up from your hotel and drive you back again, which is all included in the price.. This is OK for adults but the menu choices are a bit limited for children. Also you had to pay extra for soft drinks and beer even though wine was included in the price. ( we couldn't swap for non alcoholic drinks) It would have been nice to have had the option when booking the tickets.Having said that, it was a very enjoyable evening. We then made arrangements to meet with the manager to talk about our daughters wedding. We found Eve the manager to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable about everything that would make our daughter's day perfect and she exceeded our expectations on every level. The wedding celebration started at 14.00 and carried on until 23.00 which was a very long day indeed but at the end most of our guests wanted to stay and carry on. Eve made several crucial recommendations which all turned out brilliantly. We cannot understate the contribution that she made to our day. We would highly recommend The Limestone as a venue for any celebration.

This is a museum of limestone quarrying that I attended a wedding in. Who knew that quarries also double as venues for the ceremony, meal, speeches and after dinner dancing !

3pm till 3am it took to get out friends legally married.... The ceremony was only about 30 mins, champagne and canapés reception, three course meal for 100 guests, a band and hours of dancing - in what was originally a quarry !

To be fair the "quarry" has been extensively prepared to a very high standard of fit and finish to make it acceptable for occasions such as weddings, and, to fulfil its day job as a museum.

I have to say that it took me by surprise - a pleasant surprise - about how good a venue for events this was. Small health warning, in high summer it can be VERY hot, and you will need to some way to get there, it's maybe 20 mins out from Valetta. So be thinking about bus hire for the guests.

Back in April, looking for Maltese wedding venues we stumbled across pictures and reviews of the Limestone heritage centre. In June, we visited it and were blown away with how beautiful it was, the professionalism of Eve, the wedding planner and just how much of an interesting venue it was with history tied in to such a picturesque setting. We knew when we left after the showround, we wanted to book straight away. Even with being miles away back in England Eve made the entire process simple and straight forward. 3 day before the big day we went back to go over final details, with eve adding some brilliant last minute touches, she was even able to find me a local bar to have breakfast and watch the Rugby world cup final before the ceremony. On the day our guests were very impressed with the ceremony taking place infront of the Waterfall, followed by drinks and cake all outside in the Malta sunshine. Eve over saw the smooth running on the day, music, drinks and everything really was just perfect. The venue was easily accessible for our older guests with a lift and plenty of fun for our younger guests wanting to see the donkey and look around the museum. It really was just the perfect day, thank you to Eve and the rest of the team for making some unforgettable memories.

My wife and I got married here on 1st Sept and it was superb. I had been planning it for 10 months, and Eve was very helpful throughout. When I arrived on the wedding day I was blown away. The set up was great, the atmosphere and surroundings were perfect for our personalities. All of our 35 guests were also blown away that we'd found such a special venue. It was very hot, but the sun went down past the walls at about 6:40 and it cooled a little... I'll let the pictures say the rest.

This was one of the best experience in Malta! Food was delicious and abundant. Show was one of the best I've ever seen, and ended with fireworks; how awesome is that?! :) Also, I must say, transport was well organized.
