Gozo and Comino Islands: including Blue Lagoon, Crystal Lagoon & caves

335 reviews
Get away from the main island of Malta in search of sea and sunshine on this tour from Bugibba. Visit the Crystal Lagoon (if traveling in June-October), followed by the Blue Lagoon on Comino for swimming and snorkeling. From here, continue to Gozo Island, where you have the choice of enjoying free time at your leisure or taking a tour of the island's historic sites before cruising back to Bugibba via the Santa Maria pirate caves.

Visited the centre on 14/08/2020 and had a wonderful time. The history of the uses of limestone was so interesting, the gardens amazing and best of all I tried my hand at limestone carving. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely visit again.

Not only for the Covid safety precautions taken but also for the excellent service received and good food served turned our evening into a relaxing one. Good value for money, impeccable service and high standards of cleanliness. Also seeing that place is being conserved and nature respected makes you appreciate more the place and the ambience.

Simply stunning. We went at night at a private corporate event. Beautiful settings with more fairy lights than you could imagine. We had food there but think it was outside caterers.

Well, who would have thought 'stone' would be interesting. we didn't, but we thought we'd try it out and see for ourselves. We had a great time, we saw a short movie at the beginning, then had headphones for the duration of the tour which finishes at the studio of the resident stone mason/ sculpturer. We were given a small square of limestone and instructed in the technique of sculpturing into the stone to produce our own piece of art to take away. The mason, Peter, was amazing. Showing us how to use tools and produce an almost presentable piece. We really enjoyed our visit here and would strongly recommend it

Back in April, looking for Maltese wedding venues we stumbled across pictures and reviews of the Limestone heritage centre. In June, we visited it and were blown away with how beautiful it was, the professionalism of Eve, the wedding planner and just how much of an interesting venue it was with history tied in to such a picturesque setting. We knew when we left after the showround, we wanted to book straight away. Even with being miles away back in England Eve made the entire process simple and straight forward. 3 day before the big day we went back to go over final details, with eve adding some brilliant last minute touches, she was even able to find me a local bar to have breakfast and watch the Rugby world cup final before the ceremony. On the day our guests were very impressed with the ceremony taking place infront of the Waterfall, followed by drinks and cake all outside in the Malta sunshine. Eve over saw the smooth running on the day, music, drinks and everything really was just perfect. The venue was easily accessible for our older guests with a lift and plenty of fun for our younger guests wanting to see the donkey and look around the museum. It really was just the perfect day, thank you to Eve and the rest of the team for making some unforgettable memories.
