This places is closed currently not due to open until next year 2019, in the Autumn. The museum exterior is a very bold, strong building that hardens back to how you would imagine Roman buildings may have looked.

So happy we visited here. So many artefacts and informative. Loved it. Could spend hours wandering around. Having the reenactor there was very knowledgable. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable to. Thank you.
It is easy to spend an hour or more in this wonderful museum full to the rafters of artefacts from the Romans, we are so lucky to have these amazing finds in Wales. And its free..I think it may be closing for a few months...More
