It's a nice place to come and just admire some of the cacti. It might be a little hard to find depending on where you're coming from b/c they're doing some remodeling as of (9/28/18). There are various different types of succulents and Cacti to take pictures of, just be careful not to get too close to hurt yourself. If you're visiting on the weekends, then parking will be free, other wise you'll have to pay as a "student" would pay for parking on campus. Keep your eyes out for the small roaming lizards too! They blend in with the gravel so they might be hard to spot. Overall it's nice place to just visit!

Walking around the cactus garden is peaceful and beautiful. The Stanford Mausoleum is right next to the garden, and don't miss the beautiful Angel of Grief. The history of Leland Stanford and the area around these landmarks is something no one living in the Southbay should miss.
