We made the drive from Cairns to take family from overseas to visit the Dairy and were appalled at the rude condescending older women behind the counter. They basically growled at us and said they were busy and would be with us when they're ready (only a small amount of people in the cafe). We naturally left and drove back... More

Hi and thankyou for taking the time to write this review, even though so very disappointing. We must apologise for the service you received and it is certainly not our regular customer service or Mungalli Creek Dairy experience. We will commit to sorting out the problem with our staff member so this does not happen again. I feel really badly... More

We stopped in here twice on our Tablelands weekend away as once was clearly not enough time to try so many yummy treats and buy local, organic produce. Our first stop was a Saturday afternoon where we had a coffee, homemade cheesecake with Davidson plum and an Emerald creek chocolate ice cream. The flavours were very intense and rich in... More

Most of the great cheeses of the world are from makers who specialise in one or maybe two products. Also you never see blue ribbons or gold stars on the great cheeses of France or Spain . I was of course on alert when I saw dozens and dozens of first prize here and second prize their awards plastered all... More

Hi Phil, Thankyou for this review and it is very concerning to hear that you were so disappointed. I am not quite sure what you may of wanted to expect from our small family run business and we do try hard to offer quality products and work hard at what we do. We do seem to receive many comments of... More

A wet, cold and dreary day, but the cafe was warm and welcoming. Fantastic pea and ham soup. Lots of local products as well as Mungalli's own product.

Stopped in with some friends for lunch. We split the cheese platter between us, and some scones/jam/cream as well. It was incredibly good. Standouts for me was the herb quark, the cheddar and the fetta. The scones were served with Misty Mountains cream and I couldn't help but eat the cream on its own - it was so good! Proper... More

If you are going to the Atherton Tableland, must visit this diary farm. Their scones, yogurt, cheese and cakes are amongst the best as compared to other farms in Queensland. After enjoying a delicious afternoon tea there with a beautiful view facing the farm, we bought milk and yogurt. They are simply fresh, sweet and full of flavour.

Visited this place and loved the cosiness of the shop/cafe and we had soup on a cold day which was great for lunch. Lots of produce to chose from and gift ideas and set in beautiful countryside. Bought some great books for the grandkids. Unfortunately there were no tours of the dairy in order to keep its hygienic status which... More

Mungalli Creek Dairy is always a treat to go to. They have a beautiful place to stay and eat (or I don't know why anyone would take away.) The dairy is a nice place to go and relax and enjoy the outdoors. Their cheeses are heavenly and everything you get is fresh and so good. Sometimes there may be a... More

My parter and I went for a drive around the Tablelands after living in Cairns for two years and not making the time to explore our own backyard! Mungalli dairy was on the list and came highly recommended on Trip Advisor. We were there for a very bleak 5 minutes, turned around, walked out the door, never to return. No... More
