It is not finished but has potential and the entrance is very nice to see. Nice garden. No one ask you to pay entrance and if you are nearby you must see it.

We just took a little walk and stumbled into this fantastic setting. I took so many pictures. So many nice details to see and to explore. It is not big but beautiful.
You get greeted with a special flower juice that I never drank before. It was great.

Loads of Moskitos and spiders 😂
Perfect for photo shootings in a jungle-like surrounding. Beautiful sculptures in nice ambience.

...but needs a lot of improvements: signs to attract more visitors, some sort of café or restaurant on the grounds, maybe a game area for kids, anything to bring this potentially nice place to life; the only animation came from a few peacocks behind a fence, and a couple of turtles who entered into a running contest. Wake up your potential!

This is a great way to soak in a little of Thailand’s Samui culture.
The place is well laid out and really quite magnificent but it’s not in any of the tourist spots of Chaweng or Lamai and it’s located in one of the villages in Lipa Noi which coincidentally has a lovely beach too.

before month i wrote in a magazine about this mysterious garden which is located in the samui cultural center near the wat samtthraram, but i forgot it! till the moment i saw the entrance.. by the way to taling ngam beach we passed thru and i knew it was a little bit late fate, that the small road leaded us to this enchanted place.
we stopped immediatly a went to the entrence of dusit dhewa. we payed a entrance fee from 120 baht each and we were very surprised about 3 things: at first the icecold very well flavoured wet towel the lady behind the corner gave us for refreshment. secondly she gave us for our inner refreshment a cold blue antialcoholic drink which is produced out of a blue flower that grows everywhere in thailand. and thirdy she gave each of us one piece of untoasted toast...smiled and said we will need it inside. okay!
the theme of the dusit dhewa garden is a big mystery. it seems that there was a very excentric man long time ago, who began to create a lot of sculpures from gods or elefants and mystic creatures. there is for example a artifical very old waterfall with a relief of the kamasutra...it seems further that the owner of the garden was very interested in sexuality in all varities.
old sculptures are hidden in the lush garden...two colourful old pagodas were contructed for praying ...a djungle throne or something like this and at least the very excentric house of the owner of dusit dhewa. the house is located near a tropical creek, which flows thru the garden. it is possible to move in. nothing has changed everything is original and shows how the mysterious owner lived.
a bridge brought us to the other side. we found a big orchid farm...and a lot of peacocks in a big voillaire. now we knew for what we would need the untoasted toast. we gave all to the peacocks, but generelly it would be much nicer if they would have their liberty in this realy big area.
we can recomment dusit dhewa very much...it was a short, but very interesting trip into the mystic of the asien culture. a beautiful enchanted place every visitor of samui should see.
