It’s a nice experience, but you have to pay extra for the “good” bait and the owner is really rude...

My husband has had 4 days fishing here .. he has caught 10 different species of fish up to 240lb and 58 fish in total. The venue and guides are fantastic. Excellent eatery and service by the lovely ladies. Excellent family atmosphere. Venue clean with spotless facilities. Plus a lovely plunge pool and sun bathing area. Highly recommended by us.

Another great day at Topcats with my dad and wife on our recent trip to Koh Samui. A day full of quality fish and plenty of them by all 3 of us. Shaun is a great host, meeting us there and having a chat, checking in on us through the day and seeing us off before we left. Mum didn't fish but spent all day reading her book by the pond and pool while taking pictures, even as someone who doesn't fish she really enjoyed her day. I love fishing this place and will continue to come back time and time again. Thanks to everyone at Topcats, it's not just a quality fishery but the guides, cooks and all the staff are quality too.

In February this year on a trip for my sons wedding, we booked a trip to Topcats. We swore we would have a return Visit. On Friday 30/8/19 we came back. My son, my daughter in law , my wife (who doesn’t fish) and myself. We had an amazing day, we caught lots of fish, many different varieties, and all of them pristine and turbocharged. Our fishing helpers were excellent and worked very hard to ensure we had a great day. Our ladies who brought us food and drinks (always with a smile) were great , and looked after us very well. Shaun is always on hand to help anyway he can, and is a very knowledgable angler himself. We all had a great day, Paula said thank you for the Bali bed, but could you arrange for more sunshine next time. Thanks again Shaun and staff, you were amazing, and again, we will be back. 😁

What can I say. This was a bucket list trip for me as I'm getting on a bit. This organisation was recommended to me so I looked it up on the internet .I liked what I saw so booked a weeks holiday there. After a long flight ….13hrs....plus 2hrs change over then 2hrs to Ho Sunami I arrived at the resort. Its hot and humid. On the fisrt day my young helper Doi was waiting on my peg. He prepared all the tackle and bait for me and I cast out the baited rig. Within minutes I was into a 70lb Siamese carp. Happy days. I fished only for 4 of my 5 days as I got tired. On each day I caught either 10 of 11 fish. The smallest was about 25 - 30lb and the biggest was a 150lb arapyma. I caught red tailed catfish, mecong catfish , Siamese carp, arapyma, and julian carp. The trip well exceeded my expectations from the fishing point of view. The accommodation was excellent and the food ok. One downside is the distance from any major town to see any night life or restaurants. Its a long taxi ride. Well recommended.
