Greece seems to have cats everywhere! Lots of cats in Rhodes, at the British cemetery in Chania, and here at the Venizelos tombs. If you don't like cats, then the view of the harbor and ocean is magnificient and worth the trip by itself. This...More

Spent a quiet afternoon here on the top of Akrotiri. Here you will see from the "peninsula" the whole chania area from above. View is just fantastic. At the same time have yourself a short review in the history related to Mr. Venizelou.

This is a place to go and take some photos overlooking Chania. We went there and did that. I think the view is spectacular at sunset.

We drove up to the Venizelos Tombs for the view of the city. We weren't disappointed. I would guess that this site has the best view of Chania and the Venetian port. Worth visiting if you want a nice view of the city.
