Pedaso’s promenade for a walk, the bike path, the church, the homemade ice-cream, the beer festival, the beach-front seafood restaurants, the fishermen when they come back to the dock and sell fresh fish.

The underpasses of the twentieth-century songwriters of Pedaso.

Pedaso’s promenade along the seafront is separated from the town by the railway, to go along the promenade, accessible only on foot or by bicycle, you have to cross underpasses.

These underpasses, long ago, were dedicated to Italian twentieth-century songwriters, with events organized to celebrate the event, concerts on the sea, a very beautiful and appreciated initiative.
All this to enhance the territory, also the seafront will soon be connected to the neighboring country with a bridge, a project of the European congregation of the 90s.

With all the splendor yesterday at 17:30 to Pedaso there was thus the moon of color red and orange. The Sea merged with the sky and the reflection of the moon on the sea was a shaded orange. I took 100 photos, I only looked at the first 20 and did not know which one to choose.

A lovely that in the month of May felt completely ours! Gorgeous vistas, little cafes, and lots and lots of empty umbrella spots to call our own. Loved it.

Taking the opportunity of a dinner at the "Il Faro" restaurant, we walked along this beautiful stretch of coast in the south of the Marche, enjoying the colors of the sunset from the sea. The hill, in this area, almost "throws" into the sea.

A few years later, during a visit to friends on holiday here, we saw this beautiful seafront again, particularly enjoyable if explored on foot or by bike, out of season and whose peculiarity consists, as can be deduced from the name, in naming of plaques and underpasses after some of the greatest Italian singer-songwriters. Even though we were only able to dedicate the little time available to it, we once again appreciated the idea in itself, however noting the poor condition of some tiles, the absence of artists of the highest level - both "historical" and from times more familiar to us neighbors - and perhaps, more generally, the static nature of an initiative which should instead be developed by valorising it.
Among the various celebrated characters, all memorable, there is also Ivan Graziani, who was truly at home here, either because he was born not far away (he was from Giulianova from Teramo), or because he studied at the art institute of Ascoli Piceno and that of graphic art of Urbino, perhaps because he really played and sang a lot in these parts. This time, however, we have not seen plaques named after true giants such as Enzo Jannacci, Gino Paoli, Paolo Conte and others. But maybe we don't remember them or they have escaped us again.
