Well kept small deer park with easily navigable paths and stunning fountain as a focal point. We love seeing the deer and due to thr parks size it doesn't take too long before you find them. Also like observing the birdlife on the informal pond. Finding a parking space can be challenging at the weekend but Bushy Park is far less congested with cyclists than Richmond Park.…

If you want to go somewhere near London that is well away from the hustle and bustle of the city then this is the perfect place. I love London, but I can often get tired of the fast pace, the pollution, the traffic, etc. Bushy Park is a lot of times when I'm here nice and quiet. It's beautiful all year round too. It isn't served by a Tube station, but I see that as a good thing because it keeps the place relatively quiet (though it can get busy during the summer). It was a nice romantic walk with my partner. There is lots of amazing wildlife here to see. I never seen deer up so close until I came here. They are so beautiful and majestic. If you have kids they will love seeing the deer. Please be safe when visiting the park though. You need to respect the fact that this is home to wild deer. Keep a respectful distance as they can retaliate if they feel threatened or if it's rutting season (as the stags are full of testosterone during this period). Keep your dogs on lead during birthing seasons and ensure they don't chase the deer. Place treat them like wild animals. Be respectful. I would recommend you bring a picnic (but please dispose of your rubbish properly). In my opinion the Peasantry Cafe kind of sucks and is overpriced. The main reason you come here anyway is to be close to nature and to get away from that kind of thing.…
