The info for this property on the NTS website isn’t great- it doesn’t play up how amazing this place is. Amazing house, very interesting but the gardens are the real gem! Worth a visit if you’re in the area- 100%

Very interesting old building which has not been overly preserved and really gives a feeling of how life was. The guide are knowledgable and engaging I highly recommend this venue for a visit and don’t forget the garden.

Outlander filmed here which draws a lot of visitors but it stands out on its own. Only pity is that parked cars and council bins spoil the fantasy!
