This war memorial is probably to honour the fallen of Culross who died for the United Kingdom, although the dedication does not specifically mention the town. The monument has an unusual design. It has a three stepped base supporting a squat plinth, surmounted by a three stepped cone that looks like a mini obelisk. Granite panels bearing inscriptions for the fallen are positioned on all faces of the plinth, including more the more recent Iraq War of 2009.

The memorial is well kept. The path leading into it is safe and clear, although the road can get a bit busy depending on the time of day.

Walk from the car park along the main road and the war memorial is just before the park and gardens.
Lest we forget...

In good condition and appearing well-maintained, the War Memorial in Culross is nearly displayed and in a conservation area protected by hedging. Not far from the local car park away from the main High Street area.

This is a war memorial ( which of course many places have ) but to consider such a small town and the people that they lost - there is also a name from 2007 ( Iran I believe ).
This is clean and had poppies around it as well as reefs of fresh flowers and was worth stopping for a moments reflection and acknowledgement.

The Culross war memorial is situated in a nice waterfront position within a pleasant little playing and promenade area. Other than that it is a rather unremarkable structure.
