Sunday morning, market day(puce). Beautiful old 11 c Roman church. Heard a local? Couple singing, pretty amazing. It sounded like a whole choir! Simple interior, huge columns.

The Eglise Saint-Martin in Chapaize is one of the oldest Roman churches in Burgundy, with building beginning about 1021-1023. One of its most unique features is its 35 meter high bell tower. We fell in love with its solidity and its simplicity.
