Snorkeling and Boat Tour in Crete

45 reviews
Snorkeling is very relaxing and at the same time a very exciting activity which is suitable for all ages. Join us in a daily (morning or afternoon) guided “snorkeling” trip, take the mask, fins, snorkel and shorty wet suit from us, board on our 10 meters shady rib boat and take the chance to relax watching the marine life of our island.

We visit always two different spots with a lot of marine life, such as caves and an open water area always depends on the weather conditions

Went there after having diner at the sea side. So we already had raki, but in holiday mood, another one between the Greeks is always a great experience!

The people are friendly and willing to serve, that's why I liked the place, its nothing special in terms of the bar as such, but the overall experience in the town is welcoming and relaxing, The north Crete in general is much more interesting for people they don't like crowded places

We called in here one night on our way back to our apartment and after waiting 10minutes for someone to serve us I placed my order at the bar. BThe bar was empty but the bar person was in another part of the bar talking to her friends. Anyway afer another 10 mins coffee and metaxa arrived and after a few sips the bar person asked for payment as she wanted to join her friends in another part of the bar. Needless to say no tip was left and we never returned.

I have often thought that every Greek landscape or location is temporary , a street in any town is very different at 9 am , noon and 9 pm , and this is one of the joys of the place .Sougia is slightly different and mer consistent( in May anyway ) and is very quiet and even subdued . Most visitors seem to come for the walking and tend to go to bed early . There are about seven restaurants and I think three cafes but only one pure old fashioned bar and yes it's the Raki Bar . As a Dubliner , I consider myself an expert in bars and this would ft in very nicely on my city .Its a quiet place to sit back , have a drink and watch the world go by .Always good music playing , mostly Greek but not the tourist kind and the staff quietly go about their business and provide excellent service and are all very nice . A place I will miss and will think of in then long winter evenings .Hard to explain the difference between a good places and a bad places ,it's more an intuitive feeling and detaining a feeling you get here .
