Arranged to go out with this guy, called night before as requested, when we arrived he did say morning fishing had been difficult but we’d give it a shot. Traveled out and after some mackerel fishing plus other species coming up we decided to try for something bigger unfortunately they didn’t want to play, we can’t blame him for the lack of fish but he does make a damn good sausage sarnie and brews a decent cuppa, plenty of banter aboard so will be seeing them next year

We went out for a 2 hour fishing trip with Jack, a very helpful skipper. We knew nothing about fishing prior to the trip, he showed us all the basics and we caught a good lot of fish between the 10 of us - mainly whiting and some dogfish and dab. It was an excellent morning and we would definitely recommend. Jack gutted the fish we kept and we barbecued them all in the afternoon! Very enjoyable, helped by beautiful weather.

Tried to book for husbands birthday, but Jack said weather too iffy - we managed to arrange for the next day and joined two others (five in total). Really helpful, gave us a quick lesson and gave us rods and bait (pre-arranged). Good laugh (great weather helped!) and some fish caught. Jack appears to know his area and fishing, interesting to talk to too.
Advise warm and waterproof clothing, and footwear suitable for a boat. Suncream will save you burning, as sun or even just light will reflect off the sea. You can take your fish home at the end of the day!

Booked a 5 hour trip with a friend. There were supposed to be on the trip, 2 didn't show or inform the boat owner they were not coming. Not very nice.
We set off in the boat, a sturdy boat, wide open stern to allow plenty of fishing, and vast for just 4. The weather was very good, cloudy but little wind and a nice temperature. The sea got a bit lumpy, but the boat handled it well and it was quite a laugh with spray lashing round.
On arrival at the fishing ground we were handed our rods and a brief demo of what to do, and as Jack, the owner was showing, he caught 2 fish.
We had a good 3 1/2 hours fishing, catching a large amount of mackerel, some whiting, the odd gurnard and dab, and to finish, a nice bull huss.
Sadly for one of the other 2 he arrived at the fishing ground and spent 3 1/2 hours with his head over the side providing ground bait. His mate had a small episode later, but battled on. Maybe it was the smell of the sausages Jack cooked?
As stated, a good day and one I have no doubt we will repeat.

Booking is really easy, great comms from Jack, the boat is really nice and well laid out as you would expect, very easy to find just beside the tourist information office, a warm welcome on board and then out to sea, Jack on hand to assist the novice and ready to net the fish for the experts, Loads of fish caught by everyone, Jack seemes to have a sixth sense on where they are ! Tea and coffee provided, as is the fishing rods and bait if needed, this was one of the best fishing trips I have been on, I would highly recommend it

We are a bunch of novice fisherman who go out once a year for days fishing, we have being doing this for about 8 years and stumbled on Incentive 3 years ago. Now skippered by Jack, he looks after us novices, helping with tackle and advice and puts us on the fish. Last year he even managed to get me onto a 60lb tope and 30 minutes later I was lucky enough to get a 35lber.
Looking forward to our trip this year in July.
The trip is good value, rods are available if required plus you can pre-order bait. It's a great day out on a good boat with lots of cups of tea an banter.

What a trip, booked in to a last minute trip and jack as absolutely amazing!!! He couldn't help his customers more making brews constantly advising on tackle he's no happy till you are happy and catching fish, I went during the coronavirus pandemic so he explained prices are more as he can take less people but for the experience I would easily pay double or triple what I did he definitely went above and beyond, money well spent and a highly recommend skipper

As our young grandson had never been sea fishing before we thought that an 8hr trip may be too long but he loved it.

What bait would you recommend pre ordering? How much is the bait to pre order?
Jack T T
Colwyn Bay, UK
Bait depends on the species of fish you are after but normally lugworm, squid and mackerel will be the top baits. Lugworm is £3 a pack and squid £3.75 a box.
