Went surfing for the day here, the beach is great. Can get a little crowded during the peak hours but other than that had a great time. Some great little shops and breakfast places nearby, as well.

There were people surfing (the waves were very good), but we went with our Triad scooters to take in the trails. My only criticism is not enough "go tos" en route. The grade is very gradual, so walkers don't have to climb steep hills. Very...More

This beach was to die for for us to enjoy. We are not surfers but to swim and jump around in the waves was so much fun. The only issue was all the rocks but it was low tide at the time we went

While I don’t surf, I did thoroughly enjoy watching those who come here to ride the waves! Beautiful beach, both rocky beach and sandy shore. Small parking lot on site. Best get there early, or you’ll be trying to carve out some space along the...More

This is a lovely beach to visit with a tea house and surf shop on it. You can also take surfing lessons! It can get foggy but it usually burns off around noon. The beach is broken into 2 parts. The lower beach is shallow...More

This is a dreamy beach. Soft sand. Beautiful birds. Calming surf and the most lovely Atlantic air. The surfing wasn’t great this trip but look forward to enjoying that next time.

This beach is great if you like playing in the waves. Not recommended for wee folk. Sand beach that blends to a rocky shoreline. Lifeguard on duty in marked area. Surfers allowed in other areas.

Enjoyed walking this beach and it's very large so no one is too close. Water is cold though even in the summer.

We don't live too far from Lawrencetown Beach so are there frequently. We love this beach, the waves, the beautiful scenery! This is a highly rated provincial beach park and has the most disgusting facilities and it is a sin that it is not properly...More
