About
Ceramiques Ferran Segarra is actively involved in teaching his craft and in preserving traditional potteries of Miravet, such as faience containers, jugs, oil-measuring pitchers, vases, popular catalan cooking terracotta dishes and oil jars. Year after year, he gathered no less than 1000 antique ceramic items in his private museum located above the shop and opened to public upon request. The shop proposes a wide range of ceramics coming from everywhere in Spain; no doubt, you will find what you need there! Workshops and guided tours are also available.

I visited this ceramic shop with friends thanks to the recommendation of a local friend and it is really a must visit! We also had the chance to see the owner in action making one of his creation. If you are visiting south Catalunya, you should take your time to have a look!

A must do when in Miravet

I love this shop! I often pop in when friends come to visit.

It is a family run business and the ceramics are varied and colourful. There is definitely something for everyone.

The highlight has to be when father and son crank up their potter's wheels and begin to make whatever they feel like doing at the time be it a dish, urn or jug.

You can feel the love for what they do when you enter. There is a lot to see and you are left to do it without feeling obliged to buy anything.

There is also a small museum upstairs.

You definitely should visit here - you'd be POTty not to!

Huge selection of pottery and an amazing museum!

This is one of 7 potteries in Miravet - a village famed for its pottery for centuries. Not everything here is made on site but there is a very large choice of objects and designs. The best bit for me though was the wonderful museum upstairs - spread over two floors - I took loads of photos! Also worth looking in the other smaller potteries in the village. We visited the next one down the road (Viveros Ebro) - lovely Spanish lady showed us round. She is one of 7 generations of potters there! Huge premises, lovely work.

Very traditional, an amazing collection of ceramics, you can spend a couple pf hours just browsing, there is neve any pressure to buy, but trust me you will not be able to resist. The people that own it are so nice, they just leave you to wander.

Shoppers Delight
Aug 2017 • Couples
Family run business with the next generation now learning the pottery skills. Very friendly staff, the owners are always on hand, English is spoken. Downstairs is where you can buy older ceramics and antique pieces, upstairs if you ask nicely they will let you view the masses of old pottery collected by Ferran over the years.

Amazing Ceramics
Sep 2016 • Friends
This is workshop that produces and sells handmade and hand decorated ceramics. You can actually watch them making items and I think that there may be a museum upstairs but we didn't have time to investigate. It is free to visit but I guarantee that you will buy something. It is not expensive though unless you buy a large item and even then it probably offers good value.
