After passing Nimbu several times a week for 8 months, I finally made an appointment and went in. The ladies there are sweet, warm and listen very well (bring your google translate though if you're not fluent!) I am so happy with my manicure/pedicure and deep conditioning treatment and haircut. Very fair pricing. Took their time and the work on my nails was flawless. Will be back!

Had a little bit of a difficult time scheduling the appointments because no one answered the phone at the spa or returned my emails so I called the concierge at special places were we rented our house from and they set it up for the next morning. I specifically asked for two girls to come give myself and my friend two massages, two manicures and two pedicures. The appointment started out rocky as they were 30 minutes late and only one girl showed up. I called the concierge to let her know that I was disappointed they didn't have everything they needed for our appointments and it would've taken way too long to have all the services done by one person so another girl ended up coming and aside from the fact that they didn't bring enough towels or sheets and that their pedicure bowls were dirty, the manicures and pedicures were excellent. I believe the name of the girl who did mine was Danlee and she did one of the best jobs I've ever had on my cuticles she really worked on my feet for a long time. I had a sugar scrub and a massage by another therapist which were just basic the sugar scrub which I paid $40 extra for only lasted for a few minutes and she didn't scrub very much and the massage was mediocre, she didn't seem like she was really trained in massage and several times she just started digging at me with her elbows which hurt and I asked her to stop but she didn't understand what I was saying. The prices are definitely very good! I think we paid $25 for manicures, $35 for pedicures, $65 for the massages and $40 for the exfoliating scrub which is a great value especially considering the fact that they come to you. I would definitely use this place again if I visited Costa Rica and I would request Danlee for nails but I would ask for a different massage therapist.
