We spent the afternoon here on Christmas Eve and it was amazing. There had been snow the night before, so there was fresh powder on the ground and it also started snowing whilst we were there. It was delightful to walk around this park in amongst the animals and see them up close. You would never get this opportunity in the wild. We then ventured into the restaurant for a warm drink and to shelter from the snow. It was Christmas Eve and there were large families gathering to celebrate Christmas. Us two girls from Australia felt like we had stumbled into an Austrian families Christmas and it was so special. We drank our hot chocolate as we watched the snow fall outside. It is a Christmas Eve we will always remember. On a side note, the park only accepts cash, so make sure you have enough before you head up as there are no ATMs.

the drive there is nice, parking ample spaces. the front desk a little unfriendly, like pay and go. the park itself it somewhat ok for the money, a nice walk in nature, animals, and when you go high up there are hardly people taking the trouble, have trout pond, the rabbits donkey, goats, mamals, the lot. the park near Seedorf is much better. SAME PRICE AND GOOD RESTAURANT and visitor friendly, it is however 1,5 hour drive from Kitzbuhel, I would do that one

Thank you very much for your e-mail. I apologize if you felt that our front desk was unfriendly. Great that otherwise you enjoyed your visit. However, I do not know a park in Seedorf. We would be pleased to welcome you back to our wildlife park in near future.

The Wild park is a really nice place, we visited after a long walk from the chairlift at Bichlalm via Stuckkogel beerenbrandalm to the wild park. The park is also accessible by car too. A nice cold beer at the cafe in the park and a wander around the grounds to see the wildlife. Free roaming different breeds of goats and deer, some rutting stags, hairy wallowing pigs. I didn't spot the Lynx or the owls, although some of our party did, I did feel a bit sorry for the Monkey it seemed very sad, I did find out later that it recently lost it's mate and is in mourning, which explained things. I did feel the rabbits could have a bigger run rather than be in cages, that was the only negative i have. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

Thank you very much for your review. We have a renovation plan for the next years and every year enclosures and buildings are renovated and refurbished. Also the rabbits enclosure is quite old and it definitely needs some renovation in the future. We would be delighted to welcome you back in near future.

The Wildpark in Aurach is a true gem in the Kitzbüheler area. There are lots of animals well keeped. Everything is clean, every animal is treated with white gloves and has his home, clean and beautiful. Everything id made in Kitz Style:it means it has been made in the most beautiful mode possible. I really liked the many friendly donkeys, free to goes everywhere. Even the restaurant worth a visit. Incredible location in Tyrolean style, tasty food, reasonable prices, friendly and attentive waiters. The house where the restaurant is located is Kitz Style 100%. If you like animals, spend one whole day at the Wildpark Aurach. You will never forget your day there.

Don’t visit this park if you love animals. 1 monkey who seems to has a psychological trauma. 3 lynx’s with the same symptoms as the monkey. If just to have a walk with nice view than it’s ok.

Thank you very much for your message. We are disappointed that you did not contact us directly when you visited the wildlife park. There were 2 monkeys at our park and 1 monkey died 2 weeks ago and this is why the other monkey might seem traumatised, because she hast lost her partner. At the moment we are looking for a new home for this monkey because we specilize in local animals. Our lynx are perfectly healthy and do definitely NOT have a trauma, as they are checked by the vet a few times in the year. For further questions please do not hesitate to contact me anytime. Best regards, Andrea Pletzer-Gasser, General Manager
