We'd been here many years ago but hadn't realized how much has changed! New owners have created a stunning setting, with a lovely restaurant on the entrance level, and a beautiful wine shop & tasting room below that take advantage of their location overlooking the lake and vineyards. It was cool weather so we didn't get a chance to experience their deck seating: definitely would return here for that in the Spring or Summer. Glanced over the menu is limited but looks designed to please a high-end taste. They'd do well to offer a mid-afternoon food & wine pairing as do others in the area. Since they also have a small "market" of goods, wonder if they encourage "picnicking" on the estate? Again - something to try in better weather. The wine tasting was outstanding.Regrettably do not recall the name of the server, but he was both very knowledgeable and highly entertaining, giving us insights into the estate wines, the regions of the Okanagan where they grow their grapes, and the history of wine growing here. All sprinkled with lively personal experiences abroad. We enjoyed many of their wines: they have a good spectrum of the regions famous whites as well as some reds from matured vines. We bought two wines and look forward to following their guidance on the right food pairings to enjoy them with. There are about 10 wineries within a few minutes drive: put Mt Boucherie on the "must do" list in this pocket of the valley.

My boyfriend and I wanted to check out the wine scene in Kelowna in the winter and couldn't help but enter this beautiful building. We were greeted right away and were served immediately. Rod was our wine connoisseur and he was fantastic. He was very informative and made us feel very welcome. Do visit this beautiful building with a spectacular view!

Our experience at Mt. Boucherie was incredible. We started with the wine tasting, overlooking the vineyards and the beautiful Okanagan Lake. Sarah the Australian was incredibly passionate, made sure we tasted the type of wines we wanted (no heavy reds) and shared interesting information about the different types of wine we tasted. She made the entire experience for us! We then had dinner reservations, where we were seated on the beautiful outdoor patio and enjoyed a really tasty meal. We were so blown away by the entire experience, and we can't thank the staff enough for such a pleasant visit!

We stopped at Mt. Boucherie as part of our wine tour with Sip & Anchor. This was our 3rd stop, and it was a very hot day. Our server was kind, although I'm not sure how much we all retained about the wines due to the distraction of 2 previous wineries and the heat. It seemed like the information provided about the wines was much less specific and informative than the other wineries. The new tasting area, patio, view, and wine shop are BEAUTIFUL though, and the service was friendly and professional. The tables were distanced and clean, and the staff were all wearing masks so we felt super comfortable despite COVID-19 protocols. I wouldn't mind going back for sure.

Thank you so much for taking the time share your experience. We are sorry to hear that your host didn't share all the information that should have been. We have an enormous amount of pride in both the winemaking and viticulture practices that go into making our wines. We will be passing this along to the team to ensure all new staff have the support and knowledge needed to meet our service expectations in the future. We would love to have you back sometime, feel free to email zoe@mtboucherie.com and I will get you booked in! Many thanks, Zoë
