We had booked in to various wineries but had some spare time so visited the Hatch without knowing anything about it. O wow this was the best experience by a mile ( better than the big players) Patrick our host was amazing, funny and knowledgeable. The building might look slightly run down but don't let it fool you must not miss this winery if you visit the Okanagan Valley. The wines were superb. The winery is like the rebellious son but it has quality and hidden depths that need to be experienced.

What an amazing find! I didn't expect much to be frank and the rustic look kind of set the tone for that however our sommelier was full of life and riddled off some unique wines all filles with great backstories.

The experience is a must visit because we are witnessing the birth of another amazing Okanagan winery. The wine tasting is waived if you buy a bottle and the best is there huckleberry which if it was sold at hy's steakhouse, would be double the retail value.

This was one of the last stops on our wine tasting tour, and they definitely save the best for last! While this winery is on the small side, the atmosphere is just amazing as it’s so relaxed and so welcoming. The winds were very flavorful. The best part was our server, Regrettably I can’t remember his name. He made the experience that much better as he knew his stuff when it came to wines and was very funny! Definitely worth visiting and we will return.

These were the best wines we tasted in Kelowna. The atmosphere is fun, approachable & unpretentious. The quality of the wines is phenomenal - I wasn’t surprised to learn that they are made by a great winemaker with an extensive portfolio. The prices of the wines are reasonable. The amount of wines they make is impressive too. The labels are artistic. Honestly a must-do for anyone visiting Kelowna.

The vibe was nothing short of relaxing. Somewhere you could come as a 20 something year old and feel welcomed. Not a lot of winterises have a waiter that generally can understand you. Simon, our server, was both knowledgeable about the wines that he was serving and his jokes were very relatable to us. The wines were all so different to each other and it was a struggle buying just 1! On our next visit to Kelowna, The Hatch will be our first stop!

The bottle art is cool. That’s probably the most positive thing I can say. Compared to the numerous other wineries I’ve been to this one clearly markets more to the party crowd just looking to get wasted. Service was spotty at best. The wine isn’t even of good quality.

We visited The Hatch for a wine tasting recently. With COVID, we were glad to see all the controls and social distancing they had in place which gave us comfort.
Mikayla gave us a fantastic experience tasting The Hatch wines and made a great effort to customize it to our taste. Thanks Mikayla!

We arrived as strangers to BC wine but left as friends after 2 lovely wine tasting experiences (different flights) with a (nothing short of fantastic) lady who told us all about 'The Hatch' wines and labels. Thank you for making our trip to Canada so much more memorable Alexa (B). I suspect we will be back for a 3rd visit before we leave to take some wine back to the UK with us.

Tip for others, you can buy a bottle and enjoy it on the upper garden terrace area after your tasting.

What a mess! Arrived and it was busy just like other wineries at 4 pm. The Hatch was distracted by the business and couldn’t look at us in the eye. They were so distracted that a tour driver took pity on us and said someone will look after you shortly. Nobody did. We left. Enough said.

We stopped at The Hatch as part of a wine tour through Sip & Anchor tours. There were 6 of us and this was EVERYONE'S favourite stop on the tour. The vibe in the tasting room was super chill, great music playing, and everyone was quite casual which was nice. We tried 7 different wines (7!!!), from whites to orange to rose to reds. Not only was our server knowledgeable, he was hilarious, which made the tasting that much more enjoyable. The wines themselves were awesome! I bought 3 bottles, but am kicking myself for not buying more considering we cannot buy it where we come from. With the cool atmosphere, great artwork on the labels, and obviously great-tasting wines, this is a must-go for your next trip to the Okanagan!
