Soo many stories.. our private walk with Paul from Richmond Green to Eel Pie Island was super fascinating and great value. Having lived in Richmond for 15 years, we learned so many new facts - and found hidden gems. Royal palaces, mistresses and murders, Indian moguls, Chilean heroes, English rock stars, Italian naked ladies and savvy investors - Richmond sure has it all. An amazing experience for locals and visitors alike. We will be back for more!

What a delight it was to learn so much about the area I'd grown up in and around. Paul's historical knowledge of Kew and Brentford was extensive. He walked and talked us through a famous Roman battleground to the site of the Palimatarian uprising and the long-forgotten palace on the site of the Kew Gardens car park. We even saw a seal bobbing about on the Thames near the Brentford Project. We can't recommend a local history lesson from Paul enough. We're now keen to know what else we don't know about where we live, so we're doing the Richmond & Twickenham next.

Led by a knowledgeable guide with friendly participants, This walk was at a gentle pace and culminated in a pleasant stroll along a wooded part of the Thames. The start and finish were both close to public transport. A most enjoyable afternoon.

Seeing Turner's House and Marble Hill House was wonderful. I enjoyed the parks, seeing the River Thames in Twickenham on a sunny autumn afternoon and having a glimpse of Eel Pie Island. I learnt interesting facts about the history of the area. The guide was pleasant and well informed and gave the group a very good tour.
