Went to see Madame Butterfly and hadn't realised when I booked the seats that we would be seated in an area in the stalls where we could not read the sub titles as the opera was in Italian. However, in the interval we spoke to a very helpful assistant who contacted the Duty Manager to see if we could be accommodated in seats where we could read the sub titles. Again, the Duty Manager arrived promptly and found very good seats for us which made the show so much more enjoyable. The Soprano playing Madame Butterfly was magnificent. Such a beautiful, powerful voice. Enjoyed the production very much. So touching was at the end of the performance when the cast displayed the Ukrainian flag and sang the Ukrainian national anthem. The audience stood to their feet and applauded but remained quiet and respectful during the anthem.

We went to see Fastlove, a tribute to George Michael last night and it was brilliant and so much fun. Everyone was up dancing and singing away to some of his greatest hits. They were so talented and looked like they were enjoying the performance as much as we were.
My only suggestion is to the theatre management and that you need to put three members of staff behind the bar as by the time I got our drinks it was time to sit back down again and queued for the whole interval.

Absolutely love this theatre and was so excited to return after many years apart. However I was absolutely horrified by the bar prices. Two small (125ml) glass of white wine cost £15.80!! Be warned! On the upside there is bottomless free tap water.

Having an absolute nightmare, and just do not know where to turn for help. We have purchased tickets for dirty dancing via the AGT website have paid £118.45, we were told we would receive eTickets two weeks before the show but have not received them. Have tried emailing and phoning but are not getting any response. Even went along to the box office but that is closed. This is causing so much STRESS and is turning what should be a pleasant experience into a nightmare. What can we do

Sadly quite average but maybe we’ve been spoilt by visits to the London Palladium. Having visited Richmond panto a few years back where we were blown away by the costumes, acting, cast and script but sadly our visit this year fell short in all of these areas. The last few years we have been to the London Pallasium but decided to give Richmond another go and it felt very scaled back. Only one recognisable face and wasn’t as cheeky as before. Anton is fantastic as were the ugly sisters but Cinderella wasn’t hitting the mark for me. Second half was better than the first but by then it was too late. There were a few families who were loving it so I may well be in the minority but I think we’ll give Richmond a miss next year.

A rainy night in Richmond, I booked a ticket to see a play at Richmond Theatre…

Play, great, staff and atmosphere of the theatre not so ….

Griff Rhys’s Jones and another actor were exceptionally good in this two person play with no set change….

It was slightly marred by uninterested theatre staff… no direction of where to go and a number of us were just aimlessly wandering around the theatre looking for somewhere to sit….

Once in our seats, all was ok and the play, called ‘ An hour and a half late’ was clever, well done if not a little old fashioned Abd a tad long….

* Security outside front doors to theatre were excellent, professional and did a good job

From entering to leaving the theatre, this venue is always full, children days and annual event productions, this place is always busy. ongoing solid renovations and updating whilst leaving the heritage and history in tacked. Great staff and dress code for all productions changes so be in the know. Parking tight so get cabs or lifts and Richmond is famous for its train station / black cab service. Enjoy. MP

Went to watch Elvis and all I can say it I will not be returning. Was very meh nothing special about it stage was just showing all the wires people’s drinks and google pictures put up on a little screen behind. The place itself where we were sitting the fabric was on us the whole time and had been duck taped behind it to keep it up.
Everyone was on their phones texting or videoing with flash I didn’t think phones were allowed on! Really ruined the night won’t be attending again

Half a lager shandy and a J2O cost £11.20 - rather spoiled the evening's entertainment.
Originally wanted a coke but only cola drink offered was a Pepsi Max. Seems the establishment has decided to nanny consumers fat intake!

Richmond theatre is one of the smaller londoñ theatres but what it lacks in size it makes up with atmosphere friendliness character and presentation. The panto this year spread out into the auditorium with the house effectively and beautifully lit to build the expection ahead of the curtain rising. 10 out of 10 for presentation.
