How lucky are we to have such a wonderful space such as this so close to London. Red and Fallow deer roam freely and tamely as one cycles walks or drives around the park. Throughly recommended

Lovely for a walk or cycle with deers everywhere. Free parking and you can hire bikes if you don't have your own. Can't believe it is just outside of London

Shame about the sheer volume of people who visit, including death-wish cyclists... Otherwise, it would be a pleasant drive/walk. Can get very close to deer, they are obviously used to thousands of visitors daily, but have to hope no-one approaches a stag having a bad...More

On a perfect autumn day we rented bicycles from Roehampton Gate and cycled all around the park. The views are amazing and full of baby deers!

This is a nice park although I was a bit dissapointed that cars were allowed to drive through part of the park. This was a bit annoying. On the other side we came across big deer just lying about, ready to have their picture taken....More

Richmond Park is a big park easily accessible by tube in London. I would strongly suggest it to couples or nature enthusiasts as it's unique due to its large deer population. It's an ideal Saturday or Sunday escape from London.

Richmond Park is a wonderful place to visit. Great for families, great to walk or cycle round. The deer are roaming wild and you can wander round and watch them from a safe distance. Beautiful scenery. A must for a Sunday walk.

Spent the day walking through the park and taking pictures of the deer. It's perfect for those summer autumn days.

Despite the very annoying selfish bike riders sitting 3 abreast so they can chat!!!! The scenery is amazing and the rutting deers are a sight not to be missed.

The deer are erratic: they wander round the park. Sometimes you can see them in large number, and other times you hardly see any. Last week we saw just a handful in one pace near the Roehampton Gate and just the antlers of a... More
