Richmond Station is not a huge one so it's very easy to navigate and it's not far from the entrance to the platforms. Has good toilets, cafe and a couple of small shops. Frequent fast trains will get you to London Waterloo in 20 minutes.

We had a lovely day at Kew gardens. Came back on the bus & got off at Richmond Station. This is a really busy little spit, there is a great newsagents just in the entrance & buses to everywhere go from this spot.

Very busy station: it can be very confusing to understand where to go as you will find the Railway + the Tube station close to each other. There are quite few shops inside and just outside the station so you can get your coffee and croissant in the morning or a spot of dinner when you are back in the evening. Overall a good station

Has baldy who works at the information desk been sacked yet? I hope something has been done about the incident with Pappy.

I would avoid it like a barge pole! North Sheen Station is literally 10 minutes walk up the road and is a lot better.

I was topping up my oyster with my loose change and the bald guy came over to me and told me it wasn't allowed so terminated the machine, whilst also taking the money I had which I had put into the machine. This made me late for work as I had to then find a newsagent who would top up my oyster.

If this bald guy reads this, just remember what goes around comes around!

We’ve used Richmond Station a few times on this trip, it’s certainly an easy station to use.

Situated on the District Line, the connection to the City and Greater London are great.

It’s only got a few platforms and one main entrance, off the Quadrant. There’s not much on offer in the small station, but there’s an Amazon Fresh & Sainsbury Local right outside, along with cafes, restaurants and virtually every retail brand you can name, in the surrounding streets.

The station is on National Rail services and, also, on both the Overground and Underground District Line: so Richmond is a transport hub. Signs were clear. There are toilets, which were clean and in full working order. The coffee shop takes coffee seriously. There is a useful little shop in the ticket hall, which is the entrance and exit.

I like passing through here as it has a nice feel to it despite the modern convenience store/supermarket/cafe additions.

My local so used daily

Helpful facts;
1. There are two exits; the main exit at the front- turn right outside and you are on the high street. The back exit which takes you out onto church road is on the station concourse next to M & S. This exit is mainly used by those heading to the park or to Sheen.
2. There is a cash point next to M/S
3. There is an M/S
4. There is a WHSmith
5 There is a bike shop where you can leave your bike to be serviced or repaired. Great shop/ reasonably priced. Can also rent a bike.
6. There is a car park
7. There is a lot of space to park your bike tho very busy in the week
8. There are coffee shops and foodie places
9. The station is well manned and staffed but also lots of self service machines.
10. There is over ground and a tube service.
11. There are loos which cost 20 pence to use but these are dirty.
12. There is a pedestrianised area outside and all the main buses stop there which service other surrounding areas.
