Great for dog walks or quiet strolls when the weather is warm and the tides out. Sometimes spot horses being taken out on the beach for a few lengths.

Sand Bay provides a welcome change to the commercialised seafront along the town itself. It's a peaceful and almost lovely feeling place that's nice just to get away from everything or have a quiet walk or sit down. There's a lovely cafe along the front...More

This is a lovely place to walk and enjoy the scenery. We visited off season and there was a distinct lack of places to eat and drink. There is a good bus service between Sand Bay and Weston or you could walk along the coast...More

Not much to offer on a cold blustery day. The beach walking would be good on a nicer day. Caught the next bus back!

Hi there, sorry I hope I'm not too late in getting back to you. Yes there's a nice fish and chip shop called "Sand bay fish bar". They have seating out side and also a nice little bar.

Chinese restaurant in Weston Super Mare (0 Replies)
Last year while my children were at T4 I walked from the beach to the big Tescos. I went past a Chinese restaurant offering a budget post-T4 buffet. I'd love to know the name and details of this restaurant so I can book a table this year for after T4 and avoid the mad rush to get out of town. Would also like the number of a reliable taxi company with a 7 seater - just to get up to Sand Bay. Thanks

Sand Bay (4 Replies)
Does anyone know of a cottage, apartment that is s/c, pet friendly and on the main road at Sand Bay. We have stayed many times in Weston and Keystroke but it is to far to walk the small dog. The small dog loves the beach at Sand Bay and we just love to stop at the café for a cuppa and piece of cake after her walk along the sands This week is for two S/C who don't want or expect much in 2018. Would like it clean though. Thanks Sandy x

There's loads of websites like Homeaway where you can look at holiday cottages and apartments. You can put in that you want a pet friendly one and then you can look on a map to find a location that, hopefully, suits.
