Sand Bay is close to Weston, but a world apart. If you like a relaxing stroll there is plenty of beach and sand dunes to explore. If you are looking for exercise then you can walk out to here from Weston by the path alongside the Toll Road. At the north end of the bay the climb up onto Sand... More

My son and I bought day tickets which enabled us to go from one end of the bay to the other with a change of bus in town. The ride to uphill was good but far better was the open top bus to Sand Bay. We were upstairs with others who made it great fun. The driver was lovely and... More

Lovely place to walk and picnic. Dog friendly. Walk out to Sand point and enjoy the view. It's free.

Things you will find are the remains of a... More

A little like Canvey Super Mare. All bungalows and caravans and 'hidehi' alongside the muddy brown Bristol Channel.

A very quiet beach apart from dog walkers at certain times. Love the vegetation along the edge of the beach and the small sand dunes. There are no real facilities along the beach making it more tranquil. A lovely walk from one end to the other. Couple of car parks and 1 info hut, then just holiday parks. The tide does... More
