A place for the dogs!

This is a fantastic unspoilt stretch of beach (vast) for walking. We parked at the bus station car park which is free. There are toilets here, but locked for the winter months!!

There is plenty of free parking in Sand Bay. The beach is mostly used for dog walkers but there's others things to do than just taking the dog for a walk. There's a Pontins in Sand Bay along with a couple of shops, B&B's, pubs an a couple of places to eat. Halfway up Beach Road is a free car... More

In the winter months, a bracing walk with sight of seabirds and waders, in the summer a pleasant walk with the lovely Sand Point at the end.

I live in Weston and go here for regular walks on the beach and occasionally on sand point, the headland at the far end of the bay. There's a car park at the beginning middle and end of the road, though the road narrows at the far end so can be a bit of a squeeze, but mostly it's fine.... More

Sandbay is a lovely beach all year round. It's nice and not commercial like Weston beach. Just plain and simple beach and sand dunes. Great for walks, runs and family games.

Sand Bay is not for swimmers or Sun worshippers but dogs and their humans love it! Beach itself is mix of open sand some shingle some mud further out! Tidecearelybin so always Lots of space. Not commercialised at all. Less mobile, pushchairs and wheelchairs can stroll along narrow promenade, kids love the small sand dunes developed over past 20 years... More

Nice tranquil place to go to if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the town and there is a pub, toilets and a cafe there.

Sand bay can alter its looks on every tide, the beach is constantly changing. Despite being called Sand Bay, you will notice there are some days when there seem to be more stones than sand, however when visited again, the stones have all shifted. This is one of the reasons I love this beach. Other things to see here -... More

This little coastal area is great for a quite walk or day at the beach. There is a little cafe here that sells reasonable food no caters for glutton free diets and a pub at the end that does a good roast dinner.
