Great place to have a leisurely walk by the sea away from the crowds of Weston seafront. It's rugged and great to make the trek up and to the end of sand point, the views are... read more

This little coastal area is great for a quite walk or day at the beach. There is a little cafe here that sells reasonable food no caters for glutton free diets and a pub at the end that does a good roast dinner.

Visit the beach every time we travel down to Weston to visit family. As we live in the midlands, we don't get to do a beach walk very often. The dogs love having a run around on the beach, other walkers and dogs we've met have been friendly too. It's such a nice, peaceful walk, except for my dog howling... More

Sand Bay might not have much sand, but it is a popular local spot for walking dogs and enjoying a bit of fresh air. The tides here are large, so when the water goes out, it leaves behind a huge expanse of mud and (sometimes) ridged underwater formations. At the far end of the beach (away from Kewstoke) there is... An unspoilt beach with nothing there except a dog-friendly cafe half way along the beach. Not a beach for those that don't like dogs

A great local spot for blowing away the cobwebs after Sunday lunch! Unspoilt so far you can walk on the beach if tide out (which it usually is!) or on path if not. Lovely views over the Bristol Channel to Cardiff and beyond. Birdwatching also an option as lots of varieties to look out for. Good walks over Sand Point... More

This is a lovely natural beach and is great for dog walking. The view over to Cardiff is brilliant on a clear day and Steep Holm and Flat Holm are visible as well as the old Birnbeck Pier.

Great place for walking with dogs. Large bay with sandy beach. Bleakness is its beauty. One cafe. FREE parking. Open top bus from Sand Bay through into Weston-super-Mare along the coast road. One Hotel/Pub/Restaurant

There are literally acres and acres of beautiful sandy shore to take an easy unrestricted walk, even during high tide it is easy to navigate the footpaths on this natural beach, totally unspoilt and not commercial. There is an excellent Tea room( cafe), beautiful views and if necessary a regular bus route from Weston .
