Hoping it opens up again!
Sep 2020
The site is sadly closed, However, I really hope someone can reopen the seaquarium! It was not run down and was a family favourite that attracted so many tourists
I felt very upset seeing the building left on a recent visit.
Lets all hope it reopens! The one in Rhyl, Wales is open,
Why not the one in western?

NOW CLOSED
Mar 2019 • Couples
This attraction closed for good at the beginning of April and all the sea creatures are in the process of being relocated. Good attraction but in the wrong position, too seasonal and allowed to become very shabby. Very sorry for the staff as they were all very nice.

Still open?
Apr 2019 • Solo
I believe that this attraction is now closed to visitors. It might be helpful if this were to be verified and, if I am correct, the venue should be removed from TripAdvisor's site.

Run down
Apr 2018 • Couples
The aquarium seems like it needs a good money injection to get it looking good as it looked very run down. The enclosures weren't terrible but the place really is small. We take our time around places but it probably took us less than an hour to go around.

Disappointed
Nov 2018 • Family
Over priced and walked round in 10 mins, not very appealing for the money they charge. Would not visit or suggest to friends.

School Visit
Sep 2018 • Family
I visited with my granddaughters school. As a retired teacher myself I found many of the ‘exhibts’ poorly labelled with insufficient information and descriptions of the various ‘fish’ in each ‘tank’.
We also attended the talk given by a member of staff. The acoustics were very poor with a lot of noise from the passing groups of other visitors. What distressed me most was the incorrect and very misleading information given.
We were told that a Crab ‘sheds’ it’s shell by crawling out of the hole at the front. This is totally incorrect and we had to inform the pupils exactly how a crab does shed it’s shell.
The gift shop really does sell a load of ‘rubbish’ much of which is expensive.
Overall we were very disappointed with the overall attitude of the staff in fact one member was rude to one of the teachers when taking pupils to the toilet.

Fun and informative, but a little small.
Oct 2018 • Friends
Me and my sister visited, it was a lovely place with lots to see and feeding demonstrations. The gift shop was reasonably priced too.
It was a little smaller than expected though.

Bloody shocking
Oct 2018 • Family
Kids go free....hardly surprising why. Paid £20 for myself and my partner whilst our children went free it was absolutely abismal. Could walk through in 10mimutes. Staff all miserable as sin just grunted as we passed through. Would not recommend going unless you like wasting your money. Spent £6 on parking!! Luckily they went on the pier after they were devastated at how poor the fish were. Defiantly better in bristol!!
