This place is not hard to find. There is a nice little cafe with a simple menu and a nice little gift shop. The initial exhibition as you go in is interesting this is before you go into the main hanger where the Helicopters are situated there are a good selection of exhibits to get close up to. If you... This place is more like a scrapyard and an embarrassing eyesore to local residents but is owned by a local councillor so will probably be there forever

The Helicopter Museum is actually a Registered Charity and is NOT owned by a local Councillor at all. Perhaps as a local Gentleman you would like to join the volunteers that give up their free time to run the museum, preserving Weston-super-Mares aviation heritage for future generation and conserving the historic aircraft in the museums care? Without a guide, it was quite difficult to make sense of the models. Good for pictures but Kids wanted more. It just wasn't a day for riding!

For those into aviation and helicopters in particular, this must be a fascinating place. Such a variety of shapes and sizes. I am not interested in helicopters myself but found it interesting. There were guides available to give information and take small parties around and when I was there, there was a school trip, of very excited youngsters.

There were also people on hand to explain things or give the children try of seating in a helicopter. The tea shop was nice and warm and... More

This is a great place, our boys love looking round the helicopters and especially playing in the one outside. Pay to go in once and you get the whole year free. Cafe a bit rough round the edges.
